Im surprised that with all TV shows out there, not one character (that i'm aware of) has a tickling or even a foot fetish..., how cool would it be if Gregory House had it and would tickle all his female staff.

I'm not saying its good or bad, i'm just saying that such high percentage of population has a foot fetish, I'd guess 3-5 percent of men, but never a TV character with it.... I bet its coming soon.

Actually, a study done back in 2007 said that combined men and women, the percentage is at a whopping 1.1 % world wide. So somewhere in the vicinity of 60 - 70 million people.

I suppose you could have a character who's into tickling who isn't portrayed as a freak. But unless one of us in the forum becomes a screen writer, it ain't gonna happen.

This is very true. There was an episode of CSI a few years back "I Like to Watch" where women were being killed and they determined the killer had a foot fetish, then discovered he picked his victims by watching different women doing yoga in their bare feet. Not such a positive portrayal.

Even further back, an episode of Law & Order SVU "Tortured" had a kid who killed an Asian woman and chopped her feet off as trophys. He was actually portrayed sympathetically because his mother would routinely beat him in the head with prying pans whenever she caught him looking at feet.

LOL...yeah, usually the person is just the freaky nerd, but not a serial killer. 🙂

Personally, I don't believe there will be a TV show with a character that has a foot fetish - I really can't remember any TV show whatsoever in which the sexual preferences of the main character - unless it was homo- or heterosexual - was really a part of the show. Not even in stuff like "Sex and the City" it was mentioned what the main character preferred, and that show WAS about sex.

Dude are you joking?? 3-5 percent of all men in the world is over 100 million people!! I don't know what the percentage is, but whatever it is, it equates to millions of people.

I don't see what the fuss is all about. TV is fiction, and in the US pretty bad fiction at that. More obsessed with guns and people putting each other down and being rude to each other. I hear in France, there's lots of sex, but no guns. That would be a refreshing change of pace.
But as I was saying, it's fiction made to fit neatly between the commercials, which there seems to be more of in recent years, and mostly for cars, internet, electronic distractions, etc. It isn't meant to resemble life. Plus its people with the big money that are making all the decisions. Even with Sex & The City, there wasn't any sex, really, and women went to bed to have sex with their bras on. Comon now.
Even as far as the porn industry goes, only 10 percent of that is for fetishes, and that includes ALL of them. Feet and tickling would be a small percentage of that.
Some of us get saturated here with these fantasies, warm and comfy, but this is only one place were we can come to, to find like minded folks. We by no way represent a major part of the population. Want to complain about why it's not on TV, that's why we have people producing these videos for our custom tastes. And this has only been a recent phenomenon. In the 80's, all we had was Tao Productions, and later California Star, period.
I use to love the days of VHS and DVD's where you could watch this stuff on TV. Now it's all online videos so one has to sit at the desk, or hold a hand held device, rather than laying back on the couch for an hour without the commercials and enjoying the 20" screen effect.
We ain't going mainstream anytime soon. The majority of the viewing audience wants guns, violence, serial killers, people being mean to each other, and over blown talent shows. We don't need to take our pleasures outside in everyone else's faces.
Now get off the couch and tickle someone.

*sighs* okay, here in the USA we've something called the FCC .. if you don't know what that is, look to Soda as his Signature Pic portrays a Comedic Icon who actually beat them.

Due to FCC influence, the whole "Cleaver Family" cliche has been the only style that has sold. Having a character that is sexually specific in any fetish will either not sell or cause an outrage among the populace.

It is not worth the hassle or money for studios to create a character that will not identify to the majority of it's viewers. If you watch TV, you'll see most characters are a general stereotype, not a specific personality; that is because being specific alienates .. thus pushing viewers and MONEY away.

I can think of two shows that had a minor character date one of the main characters who had had a thing for feet. First the tv show half and half. Episode The Big Foot In My Mouth Episode. Dee Dee(a main cast character) dated a man who paid way too much attention to her feet. It started out ok she liked how he rubbed her feet without asking but the relationship didn't last due to the fact the guy she dated wouldn't focus on anything but her feet.

Second show that comes to mind, Ugly Betty. I forget the guys character name but Vanessa Williams character found out this guy liked women's feet and used it to her advantage. So the character's with a like for feet has been done just not often enough.

This is why I STILL produce DVDs and Blurays. I'd MUCH rather watch a tickling video in HD on my 46" than on my 15.6" laptop screen.
