If the TMF mods and admins were modding over at the major league baseball message boards, especially the team boards of the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves, they would view many violations of TMF policy about clutter, and the same topic being brought up in multiple threads. As many who follow baseball know, Mets lefthanded pitcher Tom Glavine, who pitched for the Atlanta Braves for sixteen years, and the past four for the New York Mets, became a free agent yesterday. The debate is raging on over at the baseball message boards, about whether Glavine should stay with the Mets, or re sign with Atlanta. There are literally more than two dozen threads at the baseball boards, which in some way or another, debate, discuss, argue, and go over the pros and cons of whether Glavine should stay with the Mets, or return to the Braves. The situation has gotten so out of hand, that many who started the threads about Glavine, are now becoming frustrated, because the whole first couple of pages on the board, seem to be filled up with multiple threads, discussing the same old topic. Glavine wont make his decision about which team to sign with, for at least another week, or so, I've heard, so, until then, it seems like the baseball boards will become more and more cluttered, with threads, and updates about Glavine. It is completely unreal, for a guy who is at the end of his career, and will likely be pitching his final year in baseball, in 2007, for whichever team he picks.
I just wanted to post this interesting piece of info.

P'S I want to point out, that while I have discussed Glavine's free agency in another thread here, the purpose of my thread now is not to discuss Glavine himself, but rather, to present the chaos that exists over at the two team baseball message boards, over this one topic, and just how out of hand it all is. Just wanted to clear that up.
