Well, hello. This is my first post. I created this account about a year ago, and rarely used it, just keeping it around in case I needed it.

Like now.

So, I've been wondering (and have my own ideas, but would like to get a more 'professional' opinion on the matter):

1) What types of feathers are best for which parts of the body

and

2) What types of feathers are best for elicting which responses?

Obviously, there are over 9000 things to play with other than feathers, but that's not what I'm asking. 😉

Welcome to the gang!

<<<<---- You'll find a lot of mixed opinions on feathers. For some, they don't work at all. For others they can do a pretty good job. It varies from person to person...and often from tickle spot to tickle spot.

Right; I'm kind of assuming the people that will answer the question are those that are affected by feathers, talking about situations where the victim is also affected by them. 😛

Depends on the person being tickled.

See above. 😀

From my experience feathers in general just don't work all that well. When i have used them i've found that stiffer feathers work better then fluffy ones regardless of what part of the body they are used on.

Just my two centavos.:smilestar

Welcome to the TMF, ******, and congratulations on delurking and making your first post. 😀 This is a wonderful place, have fun here.

Stiffer feathers work better than fluffy ones. But for me, the only places that feathers work at all are in my ears and on some other parts of my face and neck.

I discovered recently that the feathers in my pillow are PERFECT for ears, lips and noses 🙂

Light, small and fluffy feathers, usually clustered together, work well on a receptive belly. Skittering around fast and soft is the way to go. Stiff plumes work well on the soles of the feet. Peacock feathers work best on the underarms. That is the best I have.

I use feathers to gently arouse the nerves before getting down to serious tickling, doesnt make for much of a response but sets the lee up nicely for a slaughtering😀
