UFC 134 is almost upon us, my predictions are:
Silva vs. Okami
Silva wins via 2nd round TKO
Don't know much about Okami, I've never seen him fight. Apparently a good wrestler so could grind out a win Sonnen style (minus the Triangle). Still, don't know enough about him to bet against Silva.
Rua vs. Griffin
Griffin wins via split decision
Both good strikers and wrestlers, both with a decent ground game. I think it will stay standing for most of the fight, Rua has slightly better technique so will score a few points, but Griffin's stamina will help him be consistent.
Schaub vs. Big Nog.
Schaub wins via unanimous decision
Big Nog isn't as sharp as he used to be, especially on the feet. As slow and clumsy as Schaub's striking appears a lot of the time, it also seems quite effective. Shaub will keep Big Nog out of take down range with a solid jab and if it goes to the ground Schaub should be able to wrestle out of it.
