Even More Details Behind The Passing of Eddie "Umaga" Fatu

Jim Ross has confirmed reports that Eddie "Umaga" Fatu did indeed suffer a heart attack last night. F4WOnline.com has noted that last night, Fatu fell asleep watching television, and then his wife found him shortly thereafter not breathing with blood running from his nose. At that point she rushed him to the hospital where he was then placed on life support.

According to a source I just spoke with, Fatu apparently suffered another heart attack after the decision was made to take him off life support, and following that heart attack, he was gone.

I just read about Eddie Fatu's passing this morning. I always thought that he was one of the better "big man" wrestlers out there. Dead at 36... just so very sad. 🙁 May he rest in peace.

I enjoyed Eddie as "Umaga", and when he was part of Eric Bishoffs team "Two-Minute Warning".(or something like that)

I stopped heavily following wrestling awhile ago, but I always thought Umaga was a great wrestler. That's so sad. 🙁

36...is way way to young...he had alot of wrestling talent too, he will be missed by the wwe universe. Prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Too bad WWE never used him beyond his monster heel persona. He actually had talent and was pretty good as a high flying big man.
