Sorry for bringing this back but, I feel the need to point out something.

If this were in fact the point, then no one would have complained when the ump made the call. He did not do it to discriminate, so, if it isn't the words that matter, what was the point in suspending him? He made the call for the convenience of the game, not like he hates spanish-speaking people or something. Maybe you all who agree it was a bad call should see the whole picture, not just "He was wrong and it was rude and blah blah blah" which is about all you guys came up with, no offence. I do see your point, and understand where it's coming from, but I do disagree with bits and pieces of some of your positions. I would have agreed with you at first, but after thinking about my position a bit before posting, this is what I got.

Not trying to anger everyone if I am. Besides, I love a great debate.
