So, I got a massage yesterday at Massage Envy. No big deal, right? That's what I though at first too. As I've mentioned previously, my feet are insanely ticklish, whether it's a pedicure or a massage. As usual, my massage therapist 'R' started working on my feet and I was doing my damnedest not to start giggling. She asked me if she should stop and I told her "no, I'll just muddle my way through it". So there I am on the table, biting my lip and trying to keep my composure. Gotta love those foot massages. 😉
After a while, she started working on my back. I do have a couple of ticklish spots there, but I've never had a problem with them until now. There were a few times when she was working on my lower back near my spine and it tickled slightly, but not enough to make me squirm. Then, she was working on my shoulder blades. The right one tickled, but again, not enough to make me squirm. When she was working on the left one, however, it tickled so much that I flinched every time she came near it. The strange thing is that she was using the same amount of pressure on both sides!
All in all, it was an amazing experience. I'm kind of kicking myself as to why I've never used them before until now. I'm just really glad they didn't offer to do a sugar foot scrub treatment too! 😉. Just thought I'd share with you!
