Unleashing the tickler

I've noticed something odd but very intersting througout my life as short as it may be. Whenever someone discovers someone else is ticklish, they seem compulsed to tickle that person as often as possible.

Take for example this girl I used to know. We grew up together and even went to the same babysitter. Well having known each other so long we also found out we were both ticklish. Then we stopped hanging out for a few years. But towards the end of my high school years we started spending more time with each other, mainly cause we were in the same classes and such. So I would hang out with her and her friends at lunch hour. Now I don't know for sure but I'm positive she into tickling. But that's not my point, what my point is, is that she would often bring up that she knew I was ticklish and would often encourage her friends to try and tickle me too (not that I didn't mind the extra attention 😀 ). And we'd go back and forth with our tickling for most of the lunch hour. But what I began to notice is how fast her friends got into trying to tickle me. They even would start to do it on their own sometimes.

I noticed this pattern of behaviour in other people as well. My conclusion is that everyone seems to have a little tickler inside them waiting to be unleashed. All it seems to take is someone to get them started. This could mean good news when it comes to searching for possible love interests. So I guess what the world really needs is some more tickling instigators to get the rest of the world going. And that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Some people just bring it out in others, due to the nature of their reactions I think. A friend of mine has said that guys have always found it absolutely hilarious to tickle her, and my only response is, "well - that's because it is." People with ticklish laughs that sound like having-fun laughs or who make goofy faces or big smiles or jump a lot are just fun for anyone to tickle, particularly members of the opposite sex.

Say something like,"Oh I am way to ticklish for that to happen"
and watch thier face do that "oh really" squint.

I did this in High School once and the once Becky found out I was ticklish she didn't stop goosing, however this opened a few floodgates for me as well, Becky wasn't that ticklish, better if you surprised her. However, quite few of her friends noticed the ticklings going on and led me in avenues to tickle her friends.

Hmmmm...how I miss HS sometimes...sometimes.

it's true. happens to me. I've had people tickling me since 5th grade. very sporadic of course.

I agree. It has happened to me and I've seen it happen to lots of others. It has even happened at work. The word got out that one of the guys at work was really ticklish and really jumped when poked in the ribs. Other guys and gals have been sneaking up behind him and poking his ribs ever since.

OMG this is SOOOO true! When you have been friends with someone for awhile and recently find out that they are ticklish, you can't keep your hands off of them! This drives my anti-tickling friends crazy, because I always find some way to push their buttons. The same is with you! If a significant other or a good friend finds out you're ticklish, just count the number of times they try it! It will be more than ten by the end of the day, I guaruntee it!
