Thought you all would want to know, Katherine was taken off the ventilator late last night!
I can't tell say "thank you" enough! But we all appreciate your thoughts and your prayers, they have helped! Please continue, and for her folks too! Her Mama had to taken to the ER downstairs, she is just exhausted and her blood pressure was so high!

Jeff and Tracy, I printed out the cards that you sent and read them to Kat, along with printing out the well wishes her on the forum. So she knows that you guys are pulling for her. Thank you so much!
I will continue to get messages to her for all of you! Thank God for the Ronald McDonald house!🙂
 
Glad to hear that Katherine is improving. I'm sure it will be a long road back. But, let her know that we're all pulling for her and miss her. We'll continue the prayers.

Having been off-line for over a month, I just read about Katherine.My heart goes out to you and to her family , and I will pray for her speedy recovery. It's good she has a friend such as you to ge there for her, and it sounds like she has a wonderfully supportive family. May God bless her and hold her in the palm of his hand.

Also I'd like to send her a get well e-card; what addy would I be able to send it to?

Welcome back Maggie, you can send Kat a card at [email protected] that is mine e-mail address, she has no way of checking her mail at this time. I promise you I will see that she gets it!
Thank you all for the love, support and most of all prayers for Katherien and her family! Her Mama isn't doing well, she colasped in Katherine's room🙁 It's tough!

i hadn't read this or any other threads about this till now.
my heart felt best wishes go to katherine, and her family. i will hope, and think good thoughts for her speedy recovery.

Kandy can you tell Katherine that THE THREAD misses her very much and I am glad she is feeling better.
 
To the Thread, and everyone that has asked about Katherine. I have printed out all the messages and took them to her so that she could see for herself that you guys care.

Printed the get well cards too, Tracy, Jeffy, Venray, Celticrose. It really lifted her spirits! Thank y'all so much! She appreciates it and say to send her love and that she misses y'all! I also appreicate y'all asking about her and sending her messages! You guys are the best! Thanks!

Kandy has e-mailed me to let me know that Kat began vomitting..broke the rib that was cracked...and it punctured her lung.🙁

She is undergoing surgery and is still in need of all of our prayers..
