Re-organized the Yahoo Group (link under the banner below):

New Folder: "Satori" 29 images
Grey Collection: 5 new images
Osaka: 3 new images

All unknown images have been moved to a new group and updated to a wopping 248 images. The link is on the mainpage of the first group. (There are like 3 manga pages in with the unknown pics towards the end that are really weird, with some guy tickle torturing a nun!)

Nice update with the Grey Collection.

And its not really unknown, I'm pretty sure the manga was the Dragon Quest one. Its not a none its a cleric, a female priestess. You know for the geeky RPG people like me.

Great updates Cheshire. 😀

I was wondering , do you have larger versions of that [edit:cleric] scene ? I'm interested in reading it but some of the writing is difficult to make out.

Thanks for the updates !

Just saw the second group and the last manga pages were amazing. Thanks for shareing all of the great Japanese tickle art work.

FF7tickler,

I may be wrong , but I don't think this is Dragon Quest. The characters don't seem to match any of the DQ cast that I have seen (which is to say , it could easily be minor characters, or even characters in one of the other Dragon Quest manga).

Give it a look , could be that you are right though. 🙂 I am just guessing here.

~Syn

EDIT: The ticklee in this scene is definitely a nun, or at least a Ragnarok-esque priestess that dresses like a nun. She doesn't look much at all like the DQ clerics I have seen. Again, I could easily be wrong!

....

I've seen the actual manga series that its from, the reason the boy was tickling her was because her and a group of people came to the boy's island which was only inhabited by monsters. The group stole a breed of Slime and thats why he had the Anteater tickling her, to find the location of it. Its a cleric in my opinion since no attack magic was used to escape, so well she is just a cleric.

And the characters are all original for this piece, since I saw it as a fan translated manga a while back. Most characters in the Dragon Quest series are one shot ones anyway.

So what your saying is this one is from the actual Dragon Quest Manga?......their writers have nothing better to come up with for a fantasy series than tickling a nun between the legs? I really doubt thats from the mainstream comic...it actually looks like the same artist that did those other comic pages in the Unknown section with the girl tickling the older japanese females (think its a Geisha house or something).

....

No, the Dragon Quest comic had an Anteater monster licking the cleric's feet. This must be something else.

Amazing Pictures,

i was wondering if someone could help me?
I'm really interested in learning to draw anime/manga.
However the type of drawings it like to do are the more cartoony kind; ie Pokemon, Love Hina etc....

I don't want to be drawing the more life like characters. But My question is...are these just varieations? or is one manga and one anime? I don't want to go out and get a book on Manga when its anime that I'm interested in etc.

Thanks for the help...

Hm...

Well...not exactly sure of the specific question. "Anime" is japanese for Cartoon, "Manga" (mong-gah) is japanese for Comic. So basically the style is fundamentally the same except "Manga" is almost always in black and white. (and 98% of ALL anime made starts off as a manga comic) And of course there are variations in the art. Just as there are all different artists and cartoonists with different styles here in the states, so it is in Japan.

I recommend a book on drawing Manga, as that will also take you through inking and visual effects on paper. A book on Anime would take you through the animation process...😛 May I recommend the following:

How To Draw Manga- Bishoujo and Pretty Girls: http://www.anime-on-line.com/pages/images/anime/howto_books/bishoujo_gals.jpg

Techniques for Drawing Female Manga Characters: http://www.anime-on-line.com/pages/images/anime/howto_books/female_char.jpg

Really any of the books from this series are good. They have a new book for evey category; Backgrounds, Male Characters, Inking & Painting, Final Touches, etc.

Since nothing we do here actually moves around (except for a few animated gifs here and there) what we do would be considered Manga....or at least "American Manga"....

it appears to me (at least on my computer) none of these great links seem to be up and about. if you could put them all up collectively one more time i'd very very VERY much appreciate it.

(p.s i'm a huge fan of kali the punkrock kitty)
