As for your quote, I actually don't appriciate it very much, that you would assume or question why I post my artwork in the first place. I am 150% successful, all the time. I don't measure success in the number of responses I get, I measures success in my own personal satisfaction of how well I drew the picture and how much raising of the bar I did, and lately, I've been doing a fine job of it.

I'm sorry if you took my quote to be a slight or a criticism. It wasn't meant to be either. I was hoping to add motivation to your constant motivation already. I do believe that you personify the latter half of it. 😀 I admit maybe I made an assumption or pre-judged, and it was a mistake.



I think that if a person were to avoid me, a complete stranger, then it must be because they are either too shy, don't know what to say, are intimidated by my talent, are intimidated by my strong will, or both, or think that what they have to say won't make any difference at all or won't be worth much. But thats not true. I appricate and welcome new people and what they have to say. If I was the opposite I wouldn't get along with anyone, and I probably wouldn't even share my work.

You should get Myriads to make this statement a "sticky" topic like in Tickling Theatre in your sub-forum. If others knew this is how you feel about their replies, I am sure it would instill some confidence and more would post.
I dislike cliques, and it disgusts me to hear about 1 in TMF. This is 1 problem/topic that I can't really help make better. All I can say is dome good advice I've been told many times in life,

" Don't give any consideration to those who would treat you wrong, yet focus on the people who you are close to that treat you the way you should be treated."

Nah, I shouldn't have to do that. If people are too lazy to not read or look my threads, or whatever is holding them back, then it's their loss for not overcoming those obsticles they've decided to make obsticles for themselves. They're missing out on some good art. And this doesn't just apply to me, it applies to everyone. People are just lazy alot of the time. While I don't doubt their heart, I doubt their attention span or willingness to go out of their way. While I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, I can't always do that because its a fact that some people are regulars and have been around long enough to appricate the artists and what they do. A newbie is totally unaccountable for their misgivings, and so until they are not newbies any longer, they are an exception.

As for the cliches, that is something that has always been a problem on this site. People told me so when I first got here. And these aren't people that don't know what the hell they are talking about either. I'm talking veteran patrons willing to speak of this rather insidious element. Its not as bad as it seems, but it does create an exclusive atmosphere where it seems you have to gain membership to be in someone's presense or warrant their time or attention. I've watched as many newbies who had something really good to say were ignored in favor of a "lol" or " 😀" that a veteran said. Not anywhere as good as what the newbie had to say, but what the newbie said was taken with a grain of salt and ignored simply because they didn't belong to that group or haven't been here long enough in their eyes.

There are many little groups here, and I am belong to none of them, as I believe belonging to one would delute my judgment over time. Afterall, if you have several people agreeing with you almost all the time or people that will back you up even if you're wrong, how wrong are you going to feel?

As far as I'm concerned, its always been an issue of behavior, not of anything else. When people see it fit to tell me off, they are accompanied by others. And these others wouldn't last against me if they didn't have their chums for backup. I end up being right though, and the mods see this, and thats why I've been walking away from each little incident with my head held high. I don't trust a mob to do the right thing with me, I leave that up to the authoritive figures on this site, and thus far, they have not failed me. And I'm sure these cliches grind their teeth whenever that happens. 😀

But just because I get out of it ok, doesn't mean that others are so fortunate. It happens all the time where someone is outnumbered and no one does anything about it. If you are going to argue and fight, you should play fairly. 😛

Celtic, I love the pic! The feet are depicted wonderfully, like rather rarely in anime art, colors and light are great. I like the blushing on her cheeks (I'm used to that, I always draw my ticklees that way, except I make it to give the feeling of intense laughter ;->).
The class touch to me is the "enjoy" coming directly from the character... have to use the idea sometimes for one of my pic, if it doesn't bother you.

My 0,02 cent about feed backs: I usually enjoy a great part of what I see here and in TickleTheater, your pix too, but I have to admin I am very lazy... so I feed back only rarely. I think most do that too.

Why thank you. Coming from you it means alot. Not that it means any less from others. 🙂

I think blushing is the halmark quality of any good tickle picture or picture in which the character is embarassed. Blushing is undersold alot of the time, yet is an essential part of conveying an emotion or feeling. And the feet are very important, and japanese animation just doesn't put enough detail into them most of the time. Its nice that I can take the time to make the feet more realistic and appealing.

As for "enjoy", thats a universal word that doesn't belong to anyone. You can use it any time you want. ^__^

Finally, thank you for taking the time to be honest with me and not make any excuses. Not many people would have the guts to face me and say that. I appriciate your candor, sir.

There's a group called Unto Ashes under the Projekt label. They have a song on "The New Face of Goth" compilation CD called Witches'Rune. It would be perfect for the show. At times, it almost sounds like Robin herself is singing it. It's exclusively at Hot Topic.
