I was more of a picky eater when I was a kid compared to how I am now, and I honestly think that stemmed from my parents not knowing how to prepare certain foods in a way I could eat them without making a face. After getting more involved with cooking when I got older, I decided to complete some experimenting, and I finally found what worked for me. Now I'm seeing how not eating a healthier diet is affecting my general health as I'm getting older (even though I'm only 31), so I've started to get into creating healthier alternatives to traditional meals, and I've also been drawn to cooking more from scratch so I have more control over the ingredients. To help my slowly-worsening eyesight among other health issues, I found a recipe for a carrot-based pizza crust. https://joandsue .blogspot.com/2013/03/carrot-crust-pizza.html I'm sure you'll find it intriguing and want to try it out as well.
