Valentine's ideas

Valentine's Day is Sunday and I really couldn't give a rat's ass about finding a date. I'm working six hours that day and I need to do my laundry soon, which takes vast priority over anything remotely romantic. I did however have teh following thought.

A romantic relationship is out of the question. I work seven days a week and am generally not easy to get along with in the long run (I'm told). This does not necessarily deny the possibility of doing something nice for those who play supporting roles in my life. For example, I'm on a first-name basis with the receptionist at my gym, the girls who work the bar when I catch the UFC cards; that kind of thing.

Would doing something nice as a 'belated Valentine's treat' be too forward, you think? Would, say, a handmade Valentine card or something to say 'thanks for being generally pleasant' be seen as friendly and fun or cross over into being creepy and weird?

Thoughts? (<--- noted that it does not say discuss)

Hi Snail, :excited:

Why would your Valentine be belated? Valentines day isn't until Sunday. I ask only because of curiousity.

I think handmade cards are kind of something special you might give a girlfriend. You seem to not want to give the wrong impression of liking the women, so don't focus on one girl.
Why not give all the girls you know cute little valentine cards? That isn't creepy or awkward, and it's a lovely gesture. If you want to go on the cheap side, get a package of valentine cards in a box, and write a special message on each one. I say go for it if you'd like. Good Luck.

Happy Valentine's Day, Snail! :rose:

Well, you carried on a civilized conversation for at least 5 minutes as I recall. It takes longer than that to see your evil, unruly, bad ass side?

I think Helena has a great idea, but I guess as an artist, you probably find that idea too generic. Perhaps taking a deck of playing cards and pulling at the heart suit and writing a little message on them ? I don't know, I'm as unromantic as they come myself. And not a creative bone in my body.

Good luck.
