I met a beautiful young anarchist on a train once and bought her breakfast. She took the bacon off to the side of her plate, so I did the same. She asked me, are you a vegan? And I replied, I'm more of a Buddhist. She got a chuckle out of that, I get a chuckle out of it looking back.
