We hope everyone enjoys the issue. For regular readers we're sorry for the delay in between issues #6 and #7, but we wanted to experiment with the pinup book.
Now that Julie has gotten worked over, she's going to be bent out of shape for losing her rings. Knowing Koo will be after her hide she needs to make amends. Seeking out her old friend and Instructor Jack Cameron, she uses her wiles to get him to let her use his amazing new time ship. With the help of Kelli Knox, the ships builder and Jack's current "Assistant" Julie sets out to collect the rings st the source.
Or so she thinks.
Now that VU #7 is out we'll be switching gears to Julie McGee's Adventures in Time #1. From that point we will be alternating between VU and AIT.
As it stands now VU will wrap up with issue #10. It's been a long strange trip. Both FTKL and I have talked about the projects at length. We know a lot of fans like the continuing story line that VU offers. The problem is with our ever changing schedule we can't always keep issues coming out in a timely manner. We've been doing a lot better time wise lately, but we know it can be easy for regulars to get lost, and for new commers to get started.
That's what will be different with the Adventures in Time book. The underlying story will be the same; two hot ticklish women going back and forth through time meeting all sorts of friends and foes. Each issue however will stand on it's own in each time plane. They blip in, have the adventure, then blip out. It will be a lot of fun and easier to keep up with long term.
After the first run of VU and the Time book gets established, we'll be alternating with other VU projects which will also be one shots with various VU characters both old and new. Fans will get to see more back story with their favorite characters. We'll have the time to explore each in a time frame we just couldn't do in the regular series.
It's going to be a fun summer.
