Ok, technically this image contains no tickling, but the non tk forum is mostly not fetish related at all, and the text of this pic mentions tickling, so I put it here.

I just wanted to practice painting feet; trying to colorize them with more detail than usual.

critiques welcome, i can take it.

Ok, I have heard the valuable criticisms, and I have adjusted the drawing. the foot creases are now smoother and softer looking. Let me know if its an improvement.

Good effort. I've noticed the tones of the skin are getting more life-like and realistic, and thats a plus, especially if thats the road you're going down (wanting real-to-life pictures).

If I was to criticize something, it would be the wrinkles on her sole. The lines specfically are too symmetrical and don't look natural. They are almost completely the same distance apart and between on both sides. This clashes with the realistic appeal of the piece as a whole. I've seen some of your other foot art before where symmetrical lines were not a problem, so I know you can do better and/or avoid this in the future.

(On a side note, tyklfynd raises a good question/concern. I'd like for the mods to state whether or not it is ok to post non-tickling work here in this forum, so long as it is related to the fetish. Because the non-tickling forum is mostly used only to post non-fetish related work, and because its underutilized and most people looking for fetish-related work would not go there, it would be good to know whether or not exceptions can be made for fetish art or art that could be written off as fetish art so that it may be posted here where its likely to get exposure).

You should do a tutorial about drawing feet.
The drawing is really nice.

I could be wrong, but it appears as though the exaggeration of the crease in the center of her foot is symbolic of her sex. Was this your intention? If so, it was wonderfully done.

If not, then say it was anyway, and appear to be much more insightful than you intended. LOL!

lol i'm sure he will say that now...i noticed the crease or wrinkle also..

anyhoo, excellent piece of artwork...i found the foot a bit too wrinkly also, but if it's for symbolism well alrighty then lol..

Lovely image, and I like the little story in the text, too. 😀

thanks for the input

Thanks all who commented! And thanks especially to celtic emperor for the very helpful, and correct, observation that the main creases on the foot were too deep. Sometimes I stare at a drawing too long and talk myself into thinking something looks right; fresh pair of eyes help.

I have modified the original and added it to the first post on this thread. Perhaps take a peek and tell me if its better. Also, if when you look at the new pic, if anything jumps out at you as off or wrong, please post a quick note.

Isabeau: hello girl!! nice to hear from you, how have you been?

You're welcome. 🙂

I didn't think that you should actually edit your own picture, more like take it as advice for later. But, whatever works for you. 🙂

As for the corrections, they are better. As I said, before some of the creases in the flesh were too symmetrical. This made them look identical. Since its impossible for an single line on a foot to look identical to another, its a more realistic improvement that you've made.

Now that you've done this, though, now the wrinkles aren't as pronounced. There was nothing wrong in having the lines that deep, it was simply where and how they were placed. If you like it better this way though, then thats fine.

Remember that wrinkles on a sole will depend heavly on the position the foot is in, and what type of pressure is being applied to any given area. When toes scrunch down, for example, the most pronounced lines will be on the balls (or directly underneath them) of the feet rather than the soles themselves. Likewise, when theres pressure on the balls of the feet, wrinkles tend to be there. Also, I'd suggest (if you're not already doing so) to use reference material and look at various types of feet in different positions. I've noticed a majortity of your foot art tends to feature the same type of foot (same size, same lengths, narrow, slightly longer toes, etc). If this is the type of foot that is ideal to you, then its fine, but I'd suggest drawing different feet and toes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. You'll only be better off for it, and you'll have more variety to work with. Fortunately, we're in a community where foot reference photos are plentiful, so take advantage of that.
