Aren't even hard rock. They're pop bands.

Iron Butterfly lost any consideration when Led Zep opened for them, and Iron Butterfly refused to come out to play afterwards.

Some of them I wouldnt even concider rock period..but hey..when VH1 votes the number one song of the last 2 decades Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit"..what do ya expect? Ya got people that dont know dick about music in charge at these places (as unfortunatly it is in all mainstream deals). Im sure most here would agree with me😕

Whenever VH1 does one of these polls, they always bow to Kurt Cobain. I would put The Foo Fighters in the top 10 instead, they've already surpassed Nirvana's importance with better albums, songs, and Dave Grohl consistently coming up with interesting side projects.
And why are Foreigner and King Crimson on this list??
