Not sure if this is the right forum for this...if not, mods feel free to move it. I'm looking for a program to convert the contents of a DVD (on my hard drive) to an .avi file. I used to have a program called "Dr. Divx" on my old computer that worked just fine, but it won't run on the computer I'm currently using. I installed it, but when I try to run it, it tells me I do not have the current DIVX codec, even though I installed the newest codecs on the DIVX site. Anyway, I'm looking for a program that will convert the movie (.VOB) files to .avi, ideally at the usual 700-800 MB size. Any suggestions? Thanks!
