I used to play video games all the time as a kid and young teen. But I've sort of grown out of them now. The only ones I usually play nowadays are the computer strategy game ones, like C&C, Rise of Nations, Star Wars Rebellion, etc.
I still like playing the occasional old school games like Sonic the Hedgehog. Man I used to be so into that. I collected like everything I could for it that was made. I still have most or all of it.
Systems I own/have owned:
Atari (used to own, don't know what happened to it)
Sega Genesis (Own)
Sega 32X (Own)
Sega CD (Own)
Sega Game Gear (Own)
Nintendo (used to own, gave it away)
Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) (Own)
Gameboy Color (Own)
Playstation (Own, but its broken)
Playstation 2 (Own)
My favorite console? Well, its the Sega CD. But since the Sega Genesis and 32X, and Sega CD all connect to eachother to make one single powerful console, I like refering to it as one system or console, so I call it the " Sega Master System" (not to be mistaken by the actual console of the same name).
Why is it my favorite?
Because it was revolutionary in the cd based game business. It hosted a wide variety of games, and the graphics with live action video were top notch, multimedia, stereo sound, Q-Sound, compatibility with other Sega consoles makes it a far superior old-school system, far better than any one old school system alone.
My favorite games:
Atari- Donkey Kong
Sega Genesis- Beyond Oasis
Sega CD- Silpheed
Sega 32X- Knuckle's Chaotix (of the Sonic series)
Sega Game Gear- Batman Returns
Nintendo- Super Mario Bros. (any of them)
SNES- Star Wars (any of one them)
Gameboy Color- Pokemon (any of them)
Playstation- Tomb Raider (any of them)
Playstation 2- Silpheed: The Lost Planet
Favorite genre: RPG
