I'm off to Las Vegas this week to participate in Howard Stern's show at the Hard Rock Cafe. Interestingly, I'm going to be sitting in "Stern's Most Popular Guests" section, which I think is quite a recommendation for tickling. Howard asked me to bring my shackles and we've outlined some games to play with audience members that involve tickle torture. Then there's the whole Amber Smith thing. I'll be on hand to supervise the shackling and the actual session. I've been instructed to help the lucky sod who won the opportunity to tickle her and to take over if his technique is not devastating enough! I foresee Yaqi taking over the tickling!
It's going to be a 4 hour show: plenty of time for all sorts of tickling mayhem!
After Vegas I hit the West Cast to do some television appearances on some very respected shows.
I've also picked up a rather interesting gig. A freshman college girl in Iowa saw me on Stern and emailed me. She is a journalism major and has selected me as her first interview subject. The article will be dissected and discussed by her class. She has gotten permission from her teachers to do this, and while obviously I'm going to take a very tame approach to what I say to her, it all amounts to Tickling Discussions in the classroom! I personally think that is really neat!
For those who haven't seen my website lately, I have updated it with a sampling of some of the email responses I've been getting from non ticklephiles who are curious as to the whole scene. More honest mainstream reactions. To date, out of the thousands and thousands of emails I've receive after Stern I've gotten 1 marriage proposal, 2 death threats, about 30 notes that just call me gay, and the rest have been thoughtful and written by people who seem genuinely interested in tickling.
