Voice Actors Wanted! Again!

Hello everyone,

A few months ago I posted here about a Flash project I'm working on and its need for voice talent (there are a lot of characters). The script wasn't finished at the time, but now it is, and the cast is concrete.

The project is a mini-series called Evil Land, and as the title might suggest, it's a semi-serious adventure story. The main character is a young woman who has been sent to a country of double-crossing demons in search of a missing angel. Sorry, I couldn't work in anything tickling related for the sake of tone, though I tried. 🙂

Pick a character you like and record the listed quote on your computer, then just email the sound file to me. Feel free to send as many entries in as you like. I'll consider anything, as long as it's clear and doesn't blow out my speakers. I hope to hear from you soon!

Wow, that's right up my alley, LisVender! I love to do voices... ever since I was a kid I used to do Muppet voices all of the time, and I even sang "Rubber Duckie" just like Ernie!

I don't have a microphone for this thing, though. Can you recommend one and where to purchase it?

Any old mic will do, FF. You can pick one up for $5-$10 at any Staples or Walmart store (try Staples first if you have one in your area), and it should do the trick for you.

Okay, I bought the microphone a couple of hours ago at Radio Shack. I plugged it into the computer, and it seems to work on the IM screen. I can't seem to get it to work while reading that script. I'll keep trying.

EDIT: It's kind of hard to tell what tone I should be saying the lines in. I don't know what conditions this is being said under, or the circumstances. Still, I did a couple, and sent them..

The bible describes angels as towering, three-headed monsters who wreck cities with flaming swords. I always liked that description, and I thought that putting kind names on God's bloody-handed errand boys would be fun. Thanks to everyone who's tried out so far. The project is really looking good now with the fusion of so many talents. Keep them coming, everyone. I look forward to hearing your tryouts!
