VR tickling videos

Okay, so I was at walmart and saw the VR headset that you put a phone into. I have a samsung note 5 and it meets the criteria so I bought it. Quickly I came home and downloaded a couple of the VR videos from Czech and I was amazed at the experience!

Mulled it over in my head overnight and the thought hit me at 3am. I should see what I have to do to convert videos into that format.
So I looked and I found some software that will do the job. I have been converting some of the videos I have purchased over the years into this and popping it into the VR viewer. I'm reliving the glory of seeing the clip for the first time again with so much more awesomeness. If you're really into stocks foot tickling like I am, I cannot begin to explain how much more enjoyable it is to see these redone.
In short, its safe to say I've found a new hobby.

Isn't VR basically taking two images and offsetting one from the other to generate the 3d when both eyes see the image together?

yes, essentially. 2 images or video images, one for each eye and then viewed very close.

Ive been curious about trying this out, albeit my somewhat lazy curiousity has me a tad behind on giving it a whirl.
