[VX Ace] Project Alpha

How do i download this game? i pressed the download button on mediafire, but it didn't start downloading and it refreshed the page.
 
Check your downloads folder. Sometimes it just shows up. It's supposed to be a zipped file.

Episode 1 was good 🙂 was wondering when tickling would come in, until the giant slime. good job 🙂 i can't wait for episode 2.
 
The game seems far too generous. Those health restoration pads provide a fast, free source of recovery. The areas are small enough that going back to the pad is not difficult or time-consuming, making the battles very easy. The enemies also seem to have a very high rate of dropping items.

Also, this may have just been luck on my part, but the regular bots seemed to use their gun attack more than the gun bots. I don't know if that was just a fluke or not, though.

But this game seems to be an interesting project. I am glad to see that /m is included, too, as I prefer it. I will look forward to seeing what you do with the later episodes.
 
Great. First people say the game is too hard so I make getting items a little easier and health restoration a little better and now you're telling me the game is too easy with its battles and health pads and a high rate of item drops.

I literally have my head in my hands right now as probability and difficulty balance is haaaard.

Anyway, maybe I'll make another change but so far, I've only heard 1 of this problem. I'm assuming everyone is having a random experience.

I did not mean for my complaints to be intense. It is just that in your original post, you asked for feedback on whether we thought it was too easy, too hard, etc.

If you are trying to balance it, then it seems that people would rather have it on the easier side. So maybe I am just being picky.
 
Sorry. It's just that I was hoping that all the problems with difficulty were fixed up.
 
I'd much rather the game be easy, than it being so hard I want to rip my hair out.
 
In my opinion, i feel the game is quite balanced right now 🙂 if thats any help.
 
In my opinion, I think the game difficulty setting is perfect. It wasn't easy for me, but it wasn't too difficult where I couldn't figure out how to beat it.

Now, as a whole, yeah, there are going to be people who think it's too easy or too hard. You cannot please everyone. But, if you wish, why not make a poll? I'm pretty sure the majority (I included) of those people will find the game to their standards. xD

Odd. I downloaded off the website, tried it myself and it works. Does this happen right when it's starting up? Could you maybe show me a screenshot of the problem?

So, this is the screenshot of an error message and also game folder and the only content of the System folder.

Also, I downloaded few other games from your (amazing) forum and had similar errors...

P.S. What is RTP and how I can solve it?..
 
Yeah it's definitely a missing RTP problem. Like Lurk said, go and download the RTP file for RPG Maker VX Ace
 
Great thank you! Now, with RTP everything works perfectly!..

I really like the game and look forward to it's continuation. Only small minus I found in this game is that recharge pads, make grinding a little too easy...
 
Just finished the episode and had to pop in a quick comment. I love the aesthetic, and the different concept (at least for a tickling game) is rather refreshing. A bit sad that there's so little tickling in this episode, but the promise of more sounds good. Keep it up, and looking forward to the rest!
