I love some of the artwork I'm seeing in this part of the forum. I'm just a mere newbie here, but I thought I would sit down and draw up a cartoon. Unfortunately I wasn't able to come up with a very clever punchline for it. Maybe on the next try. 🙄

Very nice work Fairfeather Thanks and welcome to the site I have seen some truck stop waitresses that I would love to see how ticklish they are

WOW!

WOW!
Fairfeather that picture is amazing!
Do you have more?
Would you ever do a custom picture?
Adam

Cool! Another professional cartoonist amongst us.

😀 That is 1 of the best illustrations I have seen! Please post some more! 😀

Great. Remarkable. I liked it. 🙂

And I'm keen on knowing your technique! 😀
You have to tell!

That's terrific! The girl is cute and her expression is great, and very sharp drawing all around. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Fairfeather!

I love your drawing! Awesome!
We have a few different styles of artists in the community but your style is not one I see too often.

I love it! 🙂

Excellent drawing, Fairfeather! 😀
Welcome to the TMF. This is a wonderful place. Have fun here. 😀

Safety tip

Important safety tip Never tickle a waitress who is carrying a pot of coffee I imagine having hot coffee spilled on you would not be a good thing😛

Hi! Thanks for the warm response. Glad you all liked the cartoon. And Gen. Zod is quite correct..never ever tickle a waitress with a pot of hot coffee. 😀

Critterlord---I may do requests in the future. Right now the only time I usually have free to draw is the weekend and I have some ideas of my own that I want to try out first. 🙂

This is my first tickling art effort...so I don't have any others. The closest thing I have up right now is this figure study I did for a art and illustration forum last spring. Alas! No tickling...but there is pinching..and bare feet! Hmmm. Any pinching fetishes out there..?

You deserve all the praise. 🙂
But I'd really like to know your techniques - or the prog, or the secret word, or the whatnot. 🙂

Best wishes - and as they say: keep them coming.

Reg's.

wow, im VERY impressed with your drawing! not only is it cute, but (as many have said) you really do have an unbeleivable art talent- have you ever considered a profession in drawing or do you already have one? that's really good!

Absolutely excellent! You have a real future around here and in the tickling community if you can continue to come up with work like this!

Bravo! 😎

Outstanding work.
Would you consider doing a request picture for me if I supplied the details??

an excellent effort for a first tickling drawing.
obviously not a first drawing, as you have a refined artistic technique.

hoping to see more soon!

Really terrific, Fairfeather!
Technique and expression are great,
you are obviously a professional
comic artist or will be soon.
I really hope to see more from you soon!

Excellent! Superb! Stupendous even! Your pictures and style are truely awesome, completely polished and refined. Keep it up, and welcome to the community!😀

Smooth stuff! All these new artists are springing up out of nowhere and they're making superb first pics! If there's more on the way, I'll be happy tosee it with due aplomb!

alas! that is an awesome pic? do you do requests? if so, i'd love to see a chick in the stocks getting her soles feathered.

Hi all! I'm not exactly a "professional" cartoonist..but I try. I may do requests sometime in the future. I probably need to get some practice tickling pics in first.

Kalamos---in terms of technique I usually do what everyone else does. Do a line drawing and color it in Photoshop. However these two illustrations I posted are vector drawings. The first one was done in CorelDraw and the second one in Adobe Illustrator. I find CorelDraw a little easier to use than Illustrator. Vector applications create nice crisp edges and linework...however they are also somewhat tedious and time-consuming to use. It's kind of a trade-off.

Frankly I think the most important part of a illustration is a good, well-drawn initial sketch. There's nothing wrong with good old pencil. 😀

Vector drawing! That's it. 🙂

So far the nearest thing I've tried is Shockwave Flash.
But I agree with you: it takes time. Still, everything does - so it's really a matter of tastes choosing the favourite tool of trade.

Mine is PaintShop Pro over good old pencil...
But since nobody asked, I won't tell. 😀

Your last pic reminds me of some old miniature painter's pun: "Stop squirming, you're smearing my paint!". 😀

Great one.
[I mean the pic...]

Reg's!
