I just finished reading this masterpiece. It was described at one point as "The Dark Lord of graphic novels". I can't disagree.
There were parts of this series that had me unable to move, just losing all motivation to continue the day. There were parts that had me laughing my ass off (anything to do with the Bowel Disuprter :roffle🙂. There were parts that had me angry as all hell at the government, the public and the structure of the modern political system in general.
But that's the point of the book. It shows how the truth needs to be told and how people need to demand the truth from those who would abuse the facts and abuse their power to screw over the masses for their own personal benefit. It's a point that is more important now, at this point in history, than possibly any other time. I've always been a proponent of watching the news and trying to follow the candidates, especially around election time, but this book series highlights the need to do that for the benefit of everyone whom those candidates affect. Not just following a catch phrase or picking a party and following blindly, but really listening to the candidates and what they have to say.
Anyone else read this beauty? What are your thoughts on it?
