Was tickling ever used as real torture?

Sure, sure, some people find tickling torture to be, well, torture. Everyone finds pain to be torture. And if I hear anyone utter the words "S and M" to me, I will spit on and slap them, just to annoy Big George.

I won't post what the Nazis and Russians did during the second world war,and the Chechnyan conflict, and Vietnam, because it isn't very nice. At all. It would make people beg to be tickled.

I'm not denying that tickling has been used as torture ever, but it isn't as prolific as some would fantasise. Goat torture would have, in all likelihood, scraped the soles raw after prolonged exposure.

I doubt tickle torture was ever used as a method of severe punishment. I'm a ler and really can't stand to be tickled. Its not arousing for me at all. But I'd still rather be tied up and tickled for an hour than go get a filling at the dentist. When you read true or fiction stories about how people describe tickling as pure agony they're really just overindulging their own fetish. Your mind responds to pain much more harshly than it does tickling.

And about the Nazi thing. There was a short article posted somewhere about how Nazi tickled jews in concentration camps. It stated that female soldiers tickle tortured female (brunette) jewish prisoners. Just saying that sentence out loud should make you realise its obvioulsy just someone's fetish dream.

If you even have to ask,then unfortunately you have never been tickled by a true sadist.It's like someone took over your body and is forcing you to run nonstop for an hour or more. Long tortures have always been the best way to extract information.Some of the more gory and violent ones will just put the victums into shock rather then get any useful results.Heck,even simply dripping water on someones forehead is enough,tickling is ten times worse.

To answer your question, one has to be careful due to the complex nature of the tickling concept. Tickling seems to exist more in the fantasy or dream concept, whereas for real use, more extreme methods would be more realistic. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that it happened, and continues to happen, sadly in conjunction with more cruel actions.

I believe that it's more powerful to the observer of someone being tickled, than to the person being tickled. That's why we love the clips and photos, as it fuels our imaginations. For example, what if the terrorists captured one of our female soldiers, then sent us a video, portraying her being mercilessly tickled by several male terrorists while staked out nude? On the dark side, we may be irked by the thought of the enemy having their way with her (and possibly leading to rape next). On a lighter side, it sparks the imagination and fantasy of non-violent interrogation. In other words, the implied impact of seeing such an act, would probably have a greater effect on the viewer (whether it irks the viewer, or a psychological warfare tactic), than on the victim. I.E> It would be more likely that tickling would be used to make a sinister statement to targeted viewers, than to be a method of interrogation. Hope that helps.

One of the girls said that tickling was used in I think the Pacific Islands. The women would tie up the captive women and tickle their feet for hours according to the story. Ok, here's another point of view. Several years ago, I heard a lecture from a military intelligence officer, who briefly touched upon the subject. He told us that under military guidelines, if a soldier (who had been captured) gave up information to his captors under the persuasion(or promise) of sex (using a female to compromise, seduce, etc.), the soldier could later be charged with treason! When asked whether or not "tickle torture" would be reasonable persuasion against a captured soldier, he still said "NO", and that treason would still be the end result. It appears that tickling is not recognized by the military as torture enough to forgive a prisoner for "talking". ??????

I remember reading that story a long time ago, and I remember one of the character's saying that. It's interesting. I always wondered if that was really true or if the writer just put that in there for effect.
