Nyeh nyeh...I got Waxwork and Waxwork 2 both on one DVD for just $4 at a local convenience store (of all places)!!! :stickout
For those of you who don't know, I am now able (at last) to watch the very short but amazing medieval tickle torture scene from Wax2! Soon as I figure out how to post is, I will (or at least still frames from it)
Here's a description:
The villain sits on his throne, flanked by a concubine in harem clothes, another lounging by the throne a-la-Conan comics, and a very debauched male confidant. Before the throne are gathered the players for tonight's "entertainment"- a dominatrix stands before the throne in full patent leather getup (did they have patent leather in the middle ages?) holding a chained slavegirl by a leash, but they seem to be waiting for later to do their 'thing'. The main event is just starting as the camera pans further down the Throneroom...
A blindfolded girl in a torn dress is bound to a wooden pentagram! (Yum yum!) She struggles in vain agaist the shackles, fearfully anticipating some horrible torment. A fat, hooded, old-school Torturer cackles as he draws forth a huge quill feather for all to see (all except the blindfolded victim) With delight he begins to tickle the woman's exposed tummy and upper chest (sorry, she's not topless) She doesn't laugh yet, but she is suffering...
The Bad Guy calls a halt to it- he's bored with the same old live S&M entertainment. So the scene ends all too briefly :-(
OK, so there's almost zero tickling action, but the SETTING is fantastic! This is the ultimate setting for my Ler fantasies....
The movie is worth it even without the tickle scene... (SPOILERS!) For example, Bruce Campbell shows up in a spoof of "The Haunting" (the original B&W masterpiece, NOT the crap remake) Some other familiar people show up too... I've only ever seen Waxwork 2, I figure the first one's good as well...
