To be fair, the Rams took the Bucs approach. Load up on as many stars as possible, even if keeping all of them long term isn't going to happen.
The Lions have never been as bold about that as either of those teams. Maybe this will inspire them to do it.
Stafford is a good QB, but this is the first team where he's had this much help. As good as Calvin Johnson was, he wasn't as good as Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, OBJ, and Tyler Higbee combined. Also, the Rams are pretty stacked on defense as well.
