Okay, now we are on week#11. The mirage of Bellystrokes beating the whole field in week #10 still fresh in everyone's mind. So the question is: What are you going to do about it??? There is a FULL slate of games ( that is 16 games for those that don't know what a full slate is ) to choose from. Lots of big spreads. For those's who don't copy and paste, please keep games in order ( makes it easier on me ) and please when picking teams put the point spread next to it. It makes things so much easier for me. Thanks, in advance, for your cooperation. Now Bellystrokes how do you follow up an 8 win week??? We will find out!!! It's week #11 in the league where they play... for pay!!!

These are the games and spreads for week#11. There are no more bye weeks the rest of the regular season. So there will be a 16 game schedule the rest of the way. I will post the Thanksgiving Day games on Tuesday next week. I will then edit and place the rest of the schedule on Wednesday. I will not, however, edit Tuesday's spreads. If you want you can pick Thursday's games and then pick the rest of the games later in the week. Good Luck to Everyone this week!!!

Gluestick: Does this mean you are taking Buffalo in this game or are you just not playing this particular game??? Please let me know. Thank you buddy!!!:wiseowl:

To the Wiz: When you are ready to make the picks for all the games, do so. I have you originally not playing 5 games. Now you are not playing one game. I have you originally picking Houston and Detroit now you are going the other way. I see your picks posted. I write them down. I had no note of you editing these games. This is where I get accused of screwing up the standings by the Flying Hawaiian. I don't mind you editing but you HAVE to drop me a line and let me know you have changes or that you aren't done picking games yet. It does make it easier for me.:bowing: Thank you my friend.

My apologizes, for screwing you up, I made an assumption that you was not going to make a permanent record until Sunday before the game. i stop coming onto to the forum that much (you know tickle addicts:feets: needs to start wending themselves ways from their addictions:tickle::feets:)

I usually just put down the one I feel strongly about first log off, then
as the week goes on and i find more information i make my changes and sign off. I will make every effort in the future to not make my post until Friday, that when most of the reports about injured players are release to the public.

Once again i apologize to everyone in the pool if my actions have misled anyone to believe that George is doing any thing under handed. He’s a very upstanding person.

( I take the rest of my money in cash, your last check hasn't came down yet).:wavingguy

please accept this current post as my final change for this week. Tell Saidra i say hello

San Diego +3 @ Jacksonville - The Chargers have Peyton Manning's Number. (See Colts 13-0 start in 2005 before dropping to the Lightning Bolts) But they are way too inconsistent under Norv Turner. The Jaguars have a better defense & a better running game. And yes, an injured Garrard is better than the 2007 Phillip Rivers.
Kansas City +14 1/2 @ Indianapolis - Peyton Manning threw 6 INTs last week. I think he plays a great game this week. The absence of Dwight Freeney would hurt, but the insertion of Brodie Croyle does help...
Oakland +5 1/2 @ Minnesota - That Raider Run Defense has sprung as many leaks as the Vikings Run Defense. So the key is, who can convert third downs to stay on the field. I know Culpepper can, but I can't say the same about the rotating carousel in Viking Country.
Cleveland -2 1/2 @ Baltimore - How many of you legitimately thought at the start of the season that the Browns would be favored in the second meeting? That's right, 0. However, since Baltimore cannot score...
Pittsburgh -9 @ New York Jets - I like Kellen Clemens in some spots. Against the Steelers Defense that mixes 3-4, 4-3, zone, & man looks effectively, Clemens will struggle. That Jets Defense looks bad.
Tampa Bay -3 @ Atlanta - The Bucs are #2 in Pass Defense. The Falcons have trouble running the ball, & they are not good enough to contain Jeff Garcia.
Arizona +3 1/2 @ Cincinnati - This is your trap game of the week. The Bungles looked good on defense last week only because the Ravens can't score. The Cardinals put up 31 points this week & only allowed 21 points to the Lions.
Miami +10 @ Philadelphia - The John Beck Era starts. Somewhere I can hear Jim Johnson dialing up his blitz packages. The spread worries me simply because Philadelphia is a crap team. Even though I will cheer the Dolphins, the Dolphins can make the hated Eagles look like playoff contenders, unfortunately.
New England -15 1/2 @ Buffalo - Facing the Patriots is bad this year. Facing them after a bye figures to be worse. Taking out Marshawn Lynch (ankle) & you start to wonder if someone will apply the Mercy Rule. It won't be the Belichicks, that's for sure.
Washington +10 1/2 @ Dallas - This is your trap spread of the week. Dallas is clearly the better team. However, not only is this a division game, but these two teams hate each other.
New Orleans +1 @ Houston - Matt Schaub & Andre Johnson return. Key is the Texans Run Defense vs. Reggie Bush. This is the game to watch for entertainment, but it is quite close to call...
Carolina +10 @ Green Bay - Run Ryan Grant. Meanwhile, Vinny Testaverde is ancient & won't be able to do much against the Packers Defense.
New York Giants -2 1/2 @ Detroit - Kevin Jones is hurt, so Kitna is going to try to chuck the football around. He has been sacked 37 times, & The Giants have 31 sacks this season.
St.Louis -3 @ San Francisco - Frank Gore should have a monster day. But unless Alex Smith proves his worth as a No. 1 draft choice, the Rams are ready to rumble, as jackson & Bulger have regained their form behind the repairing offensive line.
Chicago +6 1/2 @ Seattle - Do we see good Rex, or bad Rex? Shaun Alexander is in line for getting untracked, but the Seahawks are now a passing team. Either way, 'da Bears defensive injuries will make good Rex moot.

Monday, November 19th,2007

Tennessee +2 1/2 @ Denver - Titans are smarting from last week's roadkill, so Selvin Young goes nowhere today & Cutler won't do much. Lendale White is the key to victory, as that other, more famous Young has struggled this season.

You know what??

I think I'm screwing up with the point spreads. I think I'm getting them backwards. If someone wants to take a look at my post and let me know what's up, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think I'm going to take tickle fiend's and unclebill's approach and drop the numbers until I get better at this. But I'm going to leave them up awhile longer while some brave soul takes a look to see what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks folks for helping me out!

Hey, kis. Once tf4f announces the point spreads in the first post of the thread, they are locked in. We don't touch them. We just have to decide which team we like in a given game (decisions, decisions). So, for example, in the case of your Cleveland Browns, they are favored to win this week.

Cleveland -2 1/2 @ Baltimore

If you take Cleveland, you must surrender 2 1/2 points (i.e. you're hoping they win by 3 or more in order to win that game). If Cleveland wins by only 1 or 2 points or Baltimore wins (heaven forbid), you lose that game. If you went loco on us and picked Baltimore, then all you need is for Baltimore to lose by less than 3 points.

When you make your picks just decide which team in each game you wish to take. Leave those poor spreads alone :dropatear !

Okay, I know the first ten weeks I have averagred 6 wins a week. I really am in need of some good weeks. I am looking to change things right here and right now. Fantasy Leagues are looking really good. One team at 9-1 and have clinched a playoff spot. The other is 6-4 and with a win this weekend in that league I clinch a playoff spot there too. ( Amazing that I never thought I could like Fantasy Leagues but I have to thank Natural for getting me into the baseball and one league in football and thanks goes out to Flock of Seagulls who got me in the other. ) I am hoping I can use that good karma there to get some picks here. ( Not that one has anything to do with the other mind you. ) Okay, I am in 16th place with a 61-73-9 record. That changes this week. So if you are looking for success, follow my lead. Week #11 in the League where they play... for PAY.

San Diego +3 @ Jacksonville--- Common sense tells me that Jacksonville will win this game. San Diego's season has been marred by inconsistancy. Norv Turner is an absolute moron when it comes to being a head coach. I could get the Chargers in a better position with the talent on that team. But Norv can turn ( pun intended ) a good situation bad in a hurry. Think about this, this team was 14-2 last year. They will be lucky to win 10 games. That all being stated, this game will be decided by a last second FG make or miss. Taking the Chargers to not necessarily to win but not lose by 4 points.

Kansas City +14 1/2 @ Indianapolis--- I think that the Colts will win this game easy. But the point spread has me rooting for the Chiefs to lose by 14 points or less. This is one of those games that Payton could reestablish himself after his 6 INT performance and he should do a decent job. But 14 1/2 points is too many points to lay to a good defensive team.

Oakland +5 1/2 @ Minnesota--- Two teams that have done a poor job scoring this season. I expect a low scoring affair. Look for this to be a FG game as well. Chester Taylor will do well out of the backfield for the injuried Adrian Peterson. How well??? Probably 120 yards on the ground and another 30 yards receiving. He will probably find the end zone once too. Minnesota's secondary should be exploited a bit too. This will be a 17-14 type game. Taking the road running Raiders.

Cleveland -2 1/2 @ Baltimore--- Coming into this season I would have never have thought that the Browns would be favored on the road. But that is how good the Browns have been this season. They lost a heartbreaker to Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers last week, but that should not be the case this week. Baltimore's defense will find out what the term overrated means this week. This will be another example of why the Ravens team needs to be dismantled and why maybe the coach will be let go at the end of the year. Pittsburgh embarrassed them on Monday Night two weeks ago. The Ravens allowed the Bengals to move the ball into FG position 7 times last week. Ravens problem is simple: Can't score. Defense is on the field ALL the time. If you are picking the Ravens here you will lose. Taking the high flying Browns to torch the Ravens.

Pittsburgh -9 @ New York Jets--- The Steelers blitz packages should be enough to drive Kellen Clemens crazy and to the hottub. Though I will root the Jets on hard here and will gladly accept a loss on this game, I can't make a case for my beloved team of 36 years. Actually I could make a case, but I don't need to have people think I am crazier than I already am. So go J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS...but expect a Steelers win which should make Mz.Chaos finally come out of hiding.

Tampa Bay -3 @ Atlanta--- Is there a reason to make a case why I would pick against Atlanta??? I didn't think so. Going Tampa Bay.

Arizona +3 1/2 @ Cincinnati--- This was a tough game to call for me. Arizona will score against this Bengals defense. But I think the Bengals have so many offensive weapons. I actually think that Arizona's defense is pretty good. Especially with the return of LB Karlos Dansby. But in the end, don't you have to favor Palmer in the boys??? Of course, you do. Taking the homestanding Bengals.

Miami +10 @ Philadelphia--- The Fish have played some close games recently. And as with any bad team, you lose confidence ( I speak from experience here ). The Dolphins are about ready to blow a tire here. They don't score which is the first problem. Their second problem is they are changing QB's again. Though Philadelphia has struggled they should have a fun time here. Look for the Dolphins very decent defense to blow a tire here and lose big.

New England -15 1/2 @ Buffalo--- Can't take a team that is on the road playing a divisional games and just give up 15 1/2 points. Unless they cheat, which it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they do. Even so, I think that Buffalo will play with alot of pride and keep this a 10 point game. Taking and rooting ( imagine that ) the Buffalo Bills.

Washington +10 1/2 @ Dallas--- I have lost only two Dallas games all year long. They have been a very good team for me this season. I look for this game to be tight in the first half. I do believe in the end Dallas will make a statement to the Redskins before they play their traditional Thanksgiving Day game against the punchless Jets.

New Orleans +1 @ Houston--- Drew Brees has been a good job for the last several weeks now. There is no reason to believe that he will not have another good week. So look for the Saints to win a big game for them.

Carolina +10 @ Green Bay--- I just believe that Carolina will play a close game. In my opinion, Green Bay should not be 10 point favorites. But because they are, I will pick Carolina.

New York Giants -2 1/2 @ Detroit--- The Giants and Lions are both coming off of bad games. Giants are on the road. If they couldn't stop an offensive juggernaut like the Dallas Cowboys what makes people think that the Giants can stop the Lions at home on that fast track. Let me say, I am not comparing the Cowboys and the Lions. But both teams play well offensively. This is a game alot of people will get wrong. Both teams are looking to get a foothold on a potential playoff spot. A win here will help. The Lions will win this game outright with a 38-28 type game.

St.Louis -3 @ San Francisco--- Two bad teams do not deserve a big writeup. The 49ers can't score. That will be the deciding factor. The Rams will do just enough to win this game.

Chicago +6 1/2 @ Seattle--- I have a gut feeling about this game. I actually think that Rex Grossman will have a big game. ( Hard to imagine ) I think that Seattle coming off of their scrimmage on Monday Night against the 49ers will be flat. I think that Chicago's defense will do a good job in this game. I look for the upset here. Taking the points and the Bears.

Monday, November 19th,2007

Tennessee +2 1/2 @ Denver--- Denver's defense against the Titans is a bad matchup for the Broncos. I think Vince Young will have a party in Denver. Another road team for me. Taking the Titans and the points.

That is my picks for week#11 in the NFL. Have a GREAT weekend everyone.:bouncybou

Hey there Kis123!!! You are doing fine. Don't worry. I post these point spreads. I will just follow what I post. All you have to do is pick which team you think will do well.

Also, are you playing the Monday Night game between the Tennessee Titans and the Denver Broncos??? I see you have not picked that game. Just let me know. Hope you are well sweetie!!!
