Week#13 NFL Schedule

There are some surprise numbers this week. I will be very interested to see how everyone picks this week. Let it be known, Sadira and I will NOT be on from Saturday afternoon until next Thursday night. I will not post standing for the week until next Thursday night. I will see if I can get somebody to post the point spreads next Wednesday. I will have to see how that goes. There is a realistic shot that NOBODY will be playing next Thursday night's game. That is yet to be determined by me yet. That game will feature the Chicago Bears versus the Washington Redskins. Again, I will see about that game next week. In the meantime, there is week #13 which has yet to be played. We will see how go you are this week. Here is the schedule and spreads for week#13:

I can post the spreads next week if you want, but I can't guarantee that I'll get them from USA Today. I usually get them from the Star Ledger (my one fantasy league that I do this for is all New Jersey-based despite only two Giants fans & one Jets fan out of 10 - go figure) or, failing that, foxsports.msn.com or so. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone looking for my reactions, I am not feeling well myself tonight. If USA Today posts them online I can get them that way. Let me know what you think.

Okay, I want to start with the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys tonight. I will get to rest of the games at a later time and possible a later date. So here is the way I see tonight as we start week 13 in the league where they play...for pay!!!

Green Bay +7 @ Dallas--- I do not like the line on this game. When I thought about this game, I was thinking it should be a 3 point spread. With a three point spread I would have easily have taken Dallas. But because the spread is so high, I have to believe that the Packers will keep this game a seven point or less game. Though I will root on Dallas, I am taking the Packers to keep the spread closer than 7.

Atlanta +3 1/2 @ St.Louis--- St.Louis is being picked here because you really can't trust Atlanta on the road.

Buffalo +5 1/2 @ Washington--- Everyone sees the Redskins as the fashionable pick here. I don't. This is going to be a brutal couple of weeks here. Sean Taylor is dead. Here comes Buffalo, then you have the Funeral for Sean Taylor and oh by the way, you have to play the Bears on Thursday. That is alot of emotions and abuse. I see the Redskins struggling for the next couple of weeks. I think they can find some normalcy in week#15. Buffalo hold this game close with the likelihood that they will win.

Detroit +3 1/2 @ Minnesota--- Kitna versus that secondary. Last game against Minnesota Kitna was 22 for 32 for 245 yards and left the game with a concussion. Fully healthy, what can he do??? Minnesota has won 9 straight against the Lions in Minnesota. That changes on Sunday. This is a HUGE game for the Lions and the Vikings are still without Adrian Peterson. Lions to outright win.

Houston +4 @ Tennessee--- I think Houston will be a pain here. Last time these two teams played it was an epic game decide by Bironas FG in the last seconds of a game that once Tennessee led 32-7. I think the game will play close throughout. Houston might not win but it will be close.

Jacksonville +7 @ Indianapolis--- The Colts are the better team here. The Jaguars will play this game as close to the vest as the Colt allow them too. If the Colts do not score much, game will favor the Jags. If this becomes a run and shoot kind of game, the Jaguars are dead. Colts to win big.

New York Jets +1 1/2 @ Miami--- Can't have an 0-11 team be favored even if they are playing a High School team until they pick up at least one win. Last I knew, the Jets were not a high school team and they have won 2. Which isn't saying a hell of alot.

San Diego -5 1/2 @ Kansas City--- I have wavered on this game. Even thought to throw it out. Kansas City plays a very good defense. I think it will be enough to keep this game close.

Seattle +3 @ Philadelphia--- The Eagles got screwed when they didn't review that TD in the end zone last week in Boston. Look for them to punish the Seahawks just because they are there.

San Francisco +3 @ Carolina--- Who is playing QB for Carolina??? This will be a low scoring affair. You can wake up after this game ends.

Tampa Bay +3 @ New Orleans--- Drew Brees is hitting on all cylinders right now. The Saints need to keep that train rolling. Jeff Garcia is out and McCown is going to lead Tampa Bay this week. Saints will win big.

Cleveland Pick 'em @ Arizona ( our first pick 'em game this year )--- This will be an entertaining game. I think Kurt Warner will pick this defense apart. I also think that Derek Anderson and Jamal Lewis will have big days. This will be a 38-35 type game. Going Browns.

Denver -3 1/2 @ Oakland--- Rivalry game. Raiders will play well at home.

New York Giants -1 1/2 @ Chicago--- Giants have no business being favored in this game. The Bears will rely heavily on Adrian Peterson and their dfense and, of course, Devin Hester to deliver them a victory. And they will.

Cincinnati +7 @ Pittsburgh--- This will be another fun game to watch. If Heinz Field got over the monsoon that hit during Monday's game then this should be a fun track meet. Bengals will keep it close.
