Alright this is week #13. These weeks go by so fast. Now from this point forward we have Thursday games. I will put out the schedule on Tuesday so everyone has a chance to pick Thursday's games. Now this is a reminder: if you want to choice Thursday's game you must pick the game BEFORE gametime on Thursday night. So please keep that in mind.

I have a Question?

Hey G.! How does this work come playoffs is it going to be just the same, or are we going to let records dictate who continues and who doesn't? Just curious?

I am going to let everyone try to get the best possible record they can. I will let everyone go all the way to the end. Also because I would have to figure out all mathematical possiblilities to eliminate anyone and I just don't want to do that.

Baltimore +3 @ Cincinnati - If the Ravens are that good they should win here in impressive fashion.

Minnesota +9 1/2 @ Chicago - The Bears should win but I like the points the Vikings get.

Tampa Bay + 8 1/2 @ Pittsburgh - Same as above; Pittsburgh should win but I think it will be a close game so I am going with the points.

Arizona +6 1/2 @ St.Louis - With the Rams just beating the 49ers and the way Arizona has been passing I think the Cards have a shot.

Indianapolis -7 1/2 @ Tennessee - I dont like giving up these points the way Indi is playing, they are just cruising not even trying yet still winning.

Jacksonville +2 @ Miami - Tough game, the Jags play to their opponents but I think Miami has things clicking now.

San Francisco +7 @ New Orleans - Could be a big day for Gore but I think the Saints will finish this early attack down field via the pass.

Atlanta -1 1/2 @ Washington - Big game to see if Vick has a future in Atlanta.

Kansas City -5 @ Cleveland - L.J will run for 2 TDs 150+ yards, the Browns are falling apart with internal problems.

Detroit +13 1/2 @ New England - A good game to boost confidence in New England a chance to light up the scoreboard.

San Diego -6 @ Buffalo - With McGahee they are a different team but if San D are the real thing this year they should win easy, the roid muncher is back.

New York Jets +1 @ Green Bay - The Jets in a big away win, if it wasn't for C Wood Green Bay would of been smoked by the Seahawks.

Dallas -3 1/2 @ New York Giants - Dallas, player only meetings - whats happening in New York :sowrong:

Houston +3 @ Oakland - What rule will come up this week to crucify Oakland. Houston the Nation has put you on notice......

Seattle +4 1/2 @ Denver - Easier game to pick then people expect, starting a rookie QB????? The Seahawks seem to getting back to its self late in the monday game and I think they will keep on moving forward.

Carolina -3 1/2 @ Philadelphia - A close game that could go either way, Panthers are pretty much injury free which could play a part.

Baltimore +3 @ Cincinnati --- this might end up being the game of the week. Baltimore with their GREAT defense and Cincinnati with that explosive offense. Facts are, Cincinnati NEEDS this game. They need to protect their home turf. Baltimore is a VERY good road team ( 4-1 ). I am going with the desparate team at home. Taking Cincinnati and giving up the points.

Sunday, December 3rd, 2006

Minnesota +9 1/2 @ Chicago--- Grossman has not played well in 4 straight games. Minnesota needs to keep their slimmest of playoff hopes alive. I think that Minnesota will play this game really close. In the end, Chicago will win and clinch their division. They just will not cover the 9 1/2 points. I am taking Minnesota and the 9 1/2 points.

Tampa Bay + 8 1/2 @ Pittsburgh--- This is another game that a team is desparate for a win. Pittsburgh trails the last wild card spot by 3 games with 5 to play. It is not likely that Pittsburgh will get a playoff spot but if they win, anything is possible in the game of football. The Bucs are playing out the string with their 3-8 record. I think for the Bucs pride will kick in and they will keep this game close. I believe that Pittsburgh will win but not by 8 1/2. I will go with the Buccaneers and take the points.

Arizona +6 1/2 @ St.Louis--- Arizona played Minnesota tough last week ( in a 31-26 loss )in Minnesota. St.Louis struggled to beat the 49ers ( 20-17 ) at home. I actually like the way Arizona is playing lately as they go for their third victory of the season. St.Louis has won only 1 game in their last 6. I am going with the underdog here and taking the 6 1/2. I actually like Arizona and Matt Leinart to win this game.

Indianapolis -7 1/2 @ Tennessee--- the last time these 2 teams met Indianapolis struggled at home to win the game 14-13. Now they are playing again. Things are different though. Tennessee is playing respectable now. The Titans have won four of their last 6 games including last week's emotional 4th quarter comeback that helped the Titans to a 24-21 victory over the still stunned Giants. I really think that Tennessee will keep this game close. But I can still see the Colts winning it by 10 and letting the Titans know they still have a ways to go before they can compete with them. I will take the Colts to win a 24-14 type of game. But while Indianapolis will probably win this game we are watch Vince Young grow up right before our very eyes.

Jacksonville +2 @ Miami--- I really think that Jacksonville is a better team than they have shown. That being said, they are a hard team to figure out. Miami has gotten better as the team as the season moved along. Joey Harrington has done a really good since becoming starting QB. I think that Harrington will take Miami to a 6-6 record. Taking Miami and giving up the points.

San Francisco +7 @ New Orleans---The Saints have become America's darlings. They have played inspiring football and I expect that to continue. The 49ers have played much better as the season has moved along as well. But their one win on the road comes at the hands of Detroit. I think most people would agree with me that New Orleans is much better than Detroit. Taking the Saints and giving up the points.

Atlanta -1 1/2 @ Washington--- I told everyone last week that the Falcons were a weird team. Now they are a weird team with issues which includes Michael Vick informing Atlanta Falcon fans he has a finger to the right of his index and to the left of his ring finger. It is probably a good thing they are playing on the road this week. Atlanta needs to win a game. It does not matter how they do it. They just need to do it. Washington has played well at home beating the likes of Jacksonville, Dallas and Carolina ( last week 17-13 ). Atlanta is 2-3 on the road. I look to have this be a competitive game. I am taking Washington at home to beat Atlanta.

Kansas City -5 @ Cleveland- Cleveland has won just one game at home. Kansas City has a 2-3 record on the road. Kansas City needs to win to stay ahead of Denver for the first seed in the wildcard. Teams like the Jets, Jacksonville, Denver, Cincinnati, Miami and Buffalo will all be rooting on Cleveland. So the Browns will garner MUCH support. But will that mean a win??? Probably not. Taking Kansas City and giving up the five points.

Detroit +13 1/2 @ New England--- I promised myself a week ago that I would not take Detroit anymore this season. Well, I must break that promise. This point spread is too much in my opinion. Seven of Detroit nine losses have been decided by 9 points or less. New England has had 7 of their 11 games decided by 10 points or less. I am going to look at the logic in that situation that Detroit can lose this game by less than 14 points. So I will take the 13 1/2 points and take Detroit.

San Diego -6 @ Buffalo--- This game is a tough game to call. The Bills have won three of their last four games. And the one game they lost was by a point. San Diego however is 4-2 on the road and hitting on all cylinders. I like this Chargers team alot. But what will the weather be like in Buffalo this weekend??? There is a 35% chance of snow and it will be about 35 degrees with the temps dropping throughout the day. Not exactly San Diego, California weather in Buffalo. Can San Diego win this game??? Yep!!! Will they??? Probably. But I think the elements will keep this game really close. Taking the points and Buffalo.

New York Jets +1 @ Green Bay--- Green Bay is 1-4 at home this season. Not exactly the record you expect from the Packers at home. This has been an uneven season for Green Bay at 4-7 as they look to play spoilers for the rest of the season. The Jets are a team that came into the season without much in the way of expectations. All that has changed. They need this game. The elements of Green Bay will not be a factor only because the Jets are a cold weather team. The Jets are 3-2 on the road. I think the Jets will do just enough to win this game. I will take the Jets.

Dallas -3 1/2 @ New York Giants--- Back on October 23rd, the Giants pounded the Cowboys 36-22 in Dallas. I thought the Giants were well on their way. How the worm has turned. The Giants plagued by injuries and arguing with the media and themselves are in major turmoil. They need to fix it. They need a win against the Cowboys to save their season. The Cowboys have seen their new starting QB Tony Romo do things that have Cowboy fans thinking that the future is NOW. Who can argue with that??? This Cowboys team has turned their season of turmoil into harmony. Right now a win for the Cowboys would spell the end of the Giants. I think the end is near for New York. I am giving up the 3 1/2 and taking the Cowboys to beat-up and punish the Giants as they did to them on October 23rd. Going with Dallas.

Houston +3 @ Oakland--- You know that Houston is 3-8 and Oakland is 2-9. The way Oakland is playing as of late they don't want the first pick in the upcoming draft. I think either one of these teams would benefit by having the eventual Heisman Trophy winning QB Troy Smith. This is an interesting game to watch. I will take the homestanding Raiders to beat Houston and laying the 3 points.

Seattle +4 1/2 @ Denver--- Seattle has now got their injuried players back. Denver going with a rookie QB is an incredible risk when you consider that Denver would be the last wildcard team if the season were over now. I think this is a bad time to make a change when you are playing such a good team. For that reason, I am taking Seattle and the points.

Monday Night Football

Carolina -3 1/2 @ Philadelphia--- I think that Philadelphia will be competitive the rest of the season, but I do not expect them to win too many games. I will take Carolina to win this game and keep themselves involved in the wildcard hunt.

Those are my picks for week 13 in the league where they play...for pay. Good luck to all of you this week.
