Okay, we are in week #2 of the NFL season. Hopefully we won't have major injuries like in Buffalo. Fortunately, Kevin Everett will walk again!!! Or hopefully we won't have any coaches cheating as was in the Jets/Patriots game. And hopefully we see the officials getting their eyes checked so we don't see the Bears in a before a snap of a ball. With all of that said, let's see what we have in store for week#2 in the league where they play...for pay!!!

I hope no one gets hurt this week, and everyone plays fair.
I am happy my Seattle Seachickens are 1-0, YEA!!!!
Good luck to all, and hope for some good games.
Mahalo and Aloha.

PS: Wow just felt a little earthquake while I was making my picks, I wonder if that is good or bad for my picks, Hmmmmm!
Don’t worry we have over a 100 a day, but most we don’t feel. That’s what happens when you live on active Volcanoes.

Buffalo +10 @ Pittsburgh- with all the issues with Kevin Everett it is hard not to root for the Bills. But I think that the Steelers are going to run the football down the Bills throats. But the bigger question for the Steelers is Big Ben the QB of last week or last year??? Steelers will romp in this one.

Cincinnati -6 1/2 @ Cleveland- Can anyone figure out what is going on in Cleveland??? Their starting QB ( Charlie Frye ) is benched in the 2nd quarter of last week's game and then traded to Seattle on Tuesday. They then sign Ken Dorsey to a one year contract to mentor Brady Quinn. This is the same Ken Dorsey they cut from the team on September 1st. Dorsey has played a grand total of 13 games in his NFL career which started in 2004. The Browns have NO shot in this game. The Bengals can't Bungal this up. Bengals will win big in Cleveland.

Indianapolis -7 @ Tennessee- I thought about going with the Titans in this game. Over the last couple of seasons they have played Payton Manning and the Colts tough. I can see them doing that again. But common sense tells you the Colts will cover. So I will stick with common sense and stay with the Colts.

Houston +6 1/2 @ Carolina- This is an interesting game because I think Houston is moving in the right direction. Carolina since their Super Bowl appearence at times have gone through the motions. With the homefield on the Panthers side, I will go with the home team to survive against an up and coming Texan team.

San Francisco +3 @ St.Louis- The Rams are the more experienced team here. But I like the guts the 49ers and Alex Smith showed on Monday night in beating Arizona. I would not expect that they will have a chance to repeat that this week. Rams to cover and more.

Green Bay +1 @ New York Giants- this is an interesting game in that you don't know who is playing QB for the Giants. If Eli Manning plays the Giants will win. If Eli Manning doesn't play, the Giants will probably lose. I will go with the former rather than the latter, Giants win their home opener in the Meadowlands.

Atlanta +10 @ Jacksonville- This is a tough call because of the point spread. David Garrard vs. Joey Harrington. I actual think that Joey is the better QB right now. Does that mean alot??? Probably not. But Jacksonville ( and I mentioned this many times a year ago ) plays down to their opponent. This is the Jaguars game to win. But because of their past issues and not being able to put opponents away they will like not cover the 10 points.

New Orleans -3 1/2 @ Tampa Bay- Drew Brees wants to bounce back off of his horrible performance in Indianapolis last Thursday ( September 7th ). He has a good team to try to bounce back with. Saints will win big.

Minnesota +3 @ Detroit- Do you see all these offensive weapons this Lions team has??? The Vikings play good defense. It will be a test of wills. I think there is too much for the Vikings to handle. Detroit will win this.

Dallas -3 1/2 @ Miami- I said it a week ago, the Cowboys are the best in the NFC East. Can they play like that through an entire season??? They have got to go to Miami and play the Fish. So when you Cowboys go to your local store in Texas and you see the sign on the door saying " Gone Fishin' " take it literally. The Cowboys are going to reel in some Dolphins.

Seattle -3 @ Arizona- I like Arizona. I like Matt Leinart. I just don't like them here. I think Seattle will come to Arizona and win a close and competitive game.

New York Jets +9 1/2 @ Baltimore- No Chad!!! No Chance!!! Ravens to kick the butts of the Jets. Though I will root hard for my beloved Jets, I expect them to lose.

Oakland +10 @ Denver- When will the Raiders finally get this team right??? When God finally takes Al Davis. Until then Raiders fans, wear your " Silver and Black " underneath other clothes. Denver to romp!!!

Kansas City +12 @ Chicago- I feel really bad for Herm Edwards. But this large spread is deserved. The Bears have to regroup after a tough loss in San Diego. This is not a good place to be if you are Kansas City. Root hard for the Chiefs to keep it close but don't expect it to stay close.

San Diego +3 1/2 @ New England- New England can't cheat!!! So they can't win!!! San Diego's LaDainian Tomlinson has great career numbers again the Patriots. Nothing will change. The Chargers to win this game.

Washington +7 @ Philadelphia- the Eagles lost a terrible game at Green Bay because special teams treated the ball like a hand grande. They need to play better than that. Washington won their opener against Miami. Believe me, if the Redskins can take advantage of mistakes they will. I still think Eagles but the Redskins could surprise.

Those are my picks for the week!!! Have a GREAT WEEKEND and enjoy the games!!!:wavingguy
