Week#4 Standings

Well 25% of the season is over for most teams!!! At this time we have 2 players that have played every week who are at or above .500. We do have two more over the .500 who have not yet qualified as it takes 39 games to qualify for the overall standing. In a few weeks they should qualify if they keep on working at it. I want to take the time to welcome back German who played in 163 games one year ago ( that was when we were picking from 5 or more games and not the 10 that is required this season ) and finished with a 74-87-2 record. This year I know he will do better. I would also like to welcome Love the Master to our weekly picks. May he do a really good job!!! This week we had half of the 20 players finish at .500 or better!!! This included week's best City of Mica at 10-4 followed by newcomer Alchemy at 9-5 then the third best belong to last year's reigning Champion Sadira who was 7-4. Great job!!! Here are the standings for the week and that will be followed by the overall standings!!!

All I can say about the standings this: We had 20 players this past week which is AWESOME!!! Bellystrokes posted Illtcklu's picks as well as her own. She claimed the good picks were her's below his picks. Thank God Bellystrokes, I was not paying any attention to your picks or I would be in 20th place with you. LOL!!!

Here are the overall standings: Keep in mind, I am posting all four of our newcomers despite not having enough games played. I will not have them in first place and so on until they reach the games qualified number which for next week that number will go up. Figuring they will also be playing their numbers to will go up!!! To qualify for the overall standings you MUST have played 39 games to this point!!! By the way, I have, in fact, figured out what prizes will be for 1st and 2nd and 3rd place!!! This is for fun, but I decided to put something up for winning those top three spots. I will announce it in the next few weeks!!! Here are the Overall Standings!!!

I sure am glad I don’t gamble for real, I would have lost a lot of money by now.
I think it is the spread that is killing me, darn.

I don't gamble either. But I think it is more fun with the spreads than to pick from two teams without the spreads. It makes you think about the game and what you believe the better team can win the game by. I mean if you have the Colts playing the Dolphins right now you would easily pick the Colts ( unless you happen to be a Fish fan ). But add an 11 point spread to it makes it a tougher choice.

First off I would like to thank Bellystrokes for posting my picks. She is a very thoughtful goddess.... to take time out of her busy schedule to do that for me.

that having been said........THANK god I don't take any advice from her on the picks or I would be in last place! As it is I'm right above you (seems a familar postion) in 15th place overall...... and all I can say is this....

Seriously, the demise of my Chargers is depressing me more than more making a home at the bottom of the pool. On the up side, I am doing quite well with my fantasy team. Honest.

What are you talking about??? Sadira is in 6th place!!! I am in 7th place and you are in 9th place??? You dropped from 4th place to 9th place in one week!!! As you decend down toward last place as you did last year. Last year you finished 15th in a field of 16. The only reason you didn't finish last is because Bellystrokes felt sorry for you and was very comfortable in last place!!! So pay attention and look up from your number 9 spot. I am sure you will be looking up at the rest of the field really soon. 😛
