First, congratulations to the Boston Red Sox and the upstart Colorado Rockies as they get set to play each other in the World Series.
Second, Sadira and I would like to thank the 28 people that came to our Michigan Gathering this past weekend. It was lots of fun having everyone and we now look forward to our next party as this one was a HUGE success!!! Thank you for coming into our lives.
Now to the most important thing: Football!!! Thirteen of the nineteen prognosticators had .500 or better this week. The was the best week we have had since I started this last year. Then there was three others that were 6-8 so it was a very close race this week. City of Mica and Toyou444 lead the pack with a 10-4 record and The Wiz came off the mat and went 9-5 this past week. Let's take a look at this week's standings and see who did what:

Now before I post the overall standings, note that you needed to have 64 games to qualify for the overall standings. German and Lovethemaster are both close to qualifying. If you guys both pick all the games for the next two weeks you will qualify after all the games are played in week #9. This is a close race. Once upon a time we had only 2 people at or above .500. We now have 6 at or above .500 ( not including German ). So everyone is improving. Let me show you what I am talking about as week look at week #7 overall standings:
