Week#8 Standings

It has been brought to my attention that I am " padding " ( I will use the word cheating ) on behalf of Sadira. Now for those that know me, I would love to kick Sadira around just to know I beat her. It was pointed out that I made mistakes in week# 5 and week# 6 and then week # 7 but I will not give the accuser credit for week #7 because of this line I posted after week # 6 standings... After I post the spreads on Wednesday, I will NOT be out here again until late Sunday because of this weekends Michigan Gathering. So Sadira and I will place our picks if not online here, I would hope you would trust us to pick the games without cheating. If you guys do have a problem with that then PLEASE I encourage you to speak up via PM in my box and let me know. Sadira and I are going to be knee deep with this upcoming party and probably will not get out to the forum. Thank you in advance for your understanding and I will see you right back out here.

So basically whoever it is that is calling me a cheater ( and I think I know who it is ) you make sure you keep an eye on Sadira's stats and I will keep an eye on my PM box to see if you are going to speak up. I have asked you guys if you had concerns to let me know. You DID NOT!!! You would rather not. So be it!!! I always have a clear conscience. I screwed up week's five and six guys. I inadvertantly gave Sadira three more wins than she should have had and one less losses that she was suppose to have. So Sadira's record walking into week #8 should have been 37 wins-46 losses and 5 ties which is a .449 winning percentage. I will not give credit to my accuser for week # 7 because if there were issues I put the disclaimer out there to contact me. That person did not. So please watch Sadira's numbers the rest of the way. Make sure NOBODY is giving her undue credit. I want to be able to beat her and the rest of you. I screwed up follow football fans and I am sorry. I do these numbers after the Monday Night Game and so I might not be as fresh as a daisy at that time. I am sorry though for any inconvience and I will say it again, you have an issue, TALK TO ME!!! I can't help you if I don't know there is a problem. Don't run to a monitor like you did your teacher when a bully knocked you down. This is not life and death stuff here.

As far as the rest of the league: Any issues or complaints or problems, let me know!!! It could be oversight or something could have just been changed. Note this: I will do whatever it takes for anyone at anytime. You don't believe it??? Ask those that have met me in this commmunity. I am an open, sincere and HONEST human being. I would NEVER consider cheating as an option. That being said, I am sorry for what happened with Sadira's numbers, I am truly embarrassed. All I have is my word to give you guys. Seven of the people in these standings have either been good friends over the phone or you have actually met me and we are good friends in real life. They can vouch for my honesty. I am embarrassed and I am sorry!!!

Well you know how I feel about you, however, i never would call you a cheater when it comes to the football pool. the other stuff MAYBE. I compared my wins with a couple of the other players last week. I knew i won more games, but this is just for fun, so it didn't matter to me. As lone as I'm still ahead of you.

People, Please give this man and his lady a break; it's hard as hell to run this pool, host a gathering and still have to work.

If you think it's so easy, WHY DON'T SOMEONE ELSE DO IT?

hhehehe, thanks babe, I was almost in shock to see my name in the middle of the pack. But you know, it gets tight in the middle and I hear it is lonely at the top, so I will probably stay safe and warm in the basement (that is my story and I am sticking to it.). heehehehhe

Ok, I am off the glow of being in the middle of the pack and took the time to re-read the first post, and would like to add a thought or two.

I make no claim to being a football genius (hell look at my standings) but I have met Sadira and have seen her watch and talk sports with some real sports nuts (love you guys) and trust me, this chica does not need any help---she knows her stuff and knows it well.

Secondly, I asked TF4F to do this pool again and had others who supported the idea to contact him, because I appreciated all the help he provided to me last year. When I didn't understand the point spread concept, he answered my pm very quickly and took the time to break it down for me. I know if there is a problem or a concern, TF4F is accessible and is more than willing to address the problem. You just have to pm him. And again, I appreciate the time he puts into this project because it not a task I would want to do.

Being there is no money and in my case, no ego, on the line, let's just try to have fun with this. Oh, and Go Chargers!!!!

I stand behind you, George. This forum is a better place with people like you in it. You spend quite a bit of time in organizing this football pool, and its much appreciated. Keep up the good work. I have to admit though, I am still in a bit of shock because of bellystrokes recent success. It is my understanding that Snickers candy bars leftover from Halloween have contributed to her cause.

Rumor has it that the Snickers Bars in question were purchased and sampled a couple weeks BEFORE Halloween, goddess. Hey, I just don`t make this stuff up.

I don't have any reason to believe there's cheating on here! If there was, my first question would be why since this isn't for money or anything like that!!! The only thing the winner wins here is a free membership to TMF!!!
