What exactly constitutes unrestrained tickling?

If you were to sit on someone's calves to tickle the soles, would that really be unrestrained? Or what if you held onto someone's ankles in your arms, while you tickle the soles? In both scenarios, you're not using any extra 'hardware' to restrain the person - you're just simply using your body. Or is it only unrestrained if you run your fingers across the soles, allowing the person to easily jerk the feet away?

Good question. I generally consider unrestrained to mean that no mechanical bondage is used and there is only one 'ler per 'lee. Thus, when I am applying a schoolgirl pin to my subby hubby, I consider the ensuing tickling to be unrestrained. If I had half a dozen giggling college cheerleaders helping me, it would count as restrained 😉

That is HOT! 😱 Where I grew up we didn't have cheerleaders, so I only got to see them occasionally on televised American sports shows. I always idealised them as the epitome of dominant feminine beauty and sexiness beacuse of their costumes, their confidence, and their demeanour 😉

Strange new worlds. At my high school I hated the cheerleaders for being dumb, slutty, and drooled over while being only average in the looks department. (The cheerleaders in college were much better, though. n_n)

To the topic at hand, I sorta see restrained vs unrestrained by how it makes me feel. When someone just grabs me and starts tickling, I can still struggle and have some chance of getting away. As long as I can feel that freedom, even if I'm wrestling against someone much larger and stronger, then that's unrestrained. Even if just my hands are put somewhere helpless that I can't get them out of, that feels totally different. There's a helplessness and a sense of trust you have to have, and that's glory of being restrained. n_n

Well the way I see it; unrestrained is not pinning the lee down at all, and letting her flail and kick about... eventually she wears herself out and succumbs to the tickling.

I consider any form of restraints; even using the arms to pin the person down, as restrained tickling.

Unrestrained to me would be without cuffs or bondage, so a randomly initiated tickle fight or that sort of thing would be unrestrained even if there was some form of bodily pinning involved. Restrained would be with the straps and chains and all that good stuff there.

On a side note, does anyone else get images in their mind of Macho Man Randy Savage's flying elbow drop from the top rope whenever they say or read the word "pinned"? Wrestling has traumatised and ruined me 🙁

Well I don't think I've ever attacked the feet unrestrained; the kicking is definitely brutal. But upper-body tickling is easy, and once the lee is worn out it's a cake walk.

I've tickled my gf behind her knees unrestrained (without any pinning whatsoever); and there wasn't much she could do about it once she wore herself out... I didn't get to her feet because she was wearing sneakers. I don't think she would have been able to fight much though, constant laughter is energy sapping.

I just love it when the lee submits; its so cute, it's like they are overwhelmed with the laughing, and the screaming, and the panicky fighting... then they run out of gas, and all they can do is laugh lol =3

personally, I've never been restrained, well... never... mechanically restrained... well, once, but, that didn't last long.

A pair of handcuffs at this chicks house, behind my back, tickling for about 12 seconds, and I was freed. (oh the depression THAT caused)

Anyway, Personally, I agree with Missy Val's definition, though, I don't believe ANY number of 'lers per 'lee = restrained, for example, I'm un-hold-downable if I want to get away, no matter how many (I've had 6 at a time try) 'lers are trying.

I'm pretty much the opposite: usually, one person with two hands and sufficient determination is all it takes, sooner or later, to tickle me into utter helplessness. I fight and flail and try to flee, of course, but the way her darting fingers force me to attend to whichever unprotected spot she happens to be tickling at any given second, together with the debilitating effect of continuous laughter, dooms me to eventually be doubled over, elbows pinned at my sides, hands flapping pointlessly in the air, begging through the giggles.

Two or more people? Forget it--just fast forward through the fighting and flailing and jump directly to the helplessness.
