Clips for sale and other tickling video sites. What kind of profits are made?

What liabilities are involved?:dropem:

If a company selling tickling videos is for sale, is there a multiple of sales that is the

industry standard?

Is there a broker or firm who normally handles sales of companies described above?

Clips4Sale is a broker. They provide the server/bandwidth/website in turn for a percentage of each sale.

Profits are thin. Most companies count themselves lucky to re-coup costs and make a small profit before a clip is pirated and its sales floor.

Off the wall, it might be 60% gross from a major distributor like Clips4Sale(I think?)...

That is probably why models are entrepreneurs on that site these days. Most producers are still in business; probably, because of capital(and, some income), and/or the models love what they are doing. I do not know... Too many variables.
 
With the proliferation of entire forums devoted to sharing media illegally, I'd say it's always a dicey affair trying to make money with online media distribution.

Pretty sure that's why T.I.B sold his catalog and moved on, he was sick of chasing down pirates
 
It would be great if some one in the "clips" business could make the jump to an actual serious feature length,,.... even a low-budget indie piece with real artistic quality ..... which incorporated tickling into an actual story. Hell,... the old Ally McBeal show gave it a shot. And The Story of "O" made the jump from risky kink to fine art in the theater. I think it could be done with the right story and vehicle.
 
I don't think anyone will ever bother with the effort of making a feature length, or even overly complex video like you mentioned, Piper, because of
what others have said about the piracy issue: Why bother when you know after a short while, the clips will be pirated and sales end?

To add insult to injury, after the thread Turtleboy posted a while back.......the pirates aren't even paying for the first clip! They get the charge taken off their credit card,
so the producer doesn't even make money from the initial clip purchased!
 
South Atmosphere actually did a full length tickle "movie", actually.
 
Well I do believe one guy made a movie called tickle dolls die laughing like some sort of horror serial tickler. I do believe he/she must have became rich off of it and retired as a matter of fact, begs me to wonder why others don't do the same thing!
 
Man, I don't know how any of those companies stay in business with all the clip stealing. let alone make a profit.
 
I'd be quite surprised if most do. To me, most of these producers really appear as losers that just hire women to touch their feet, especially the ones that are always licking / sucking their feet, because they are probably to socially inept to be able to find a women in real life that would spend time with them without getting paid.

If your a producer and reading this, and you fall within that category, let me just tell you how pathetic that is.

I don't get that at all. I think most producers start because they either aren't seeing what they want in available clips or they think they can do better than what's out there and maybe make some money.

Looks like someone forgot the TMF's Golden Rule.
 
Well ya see I don't know first hand, but I do read producers say now and again that they don't make any money, or say they would be happy to just make the cost back, or producers say they'd continue even if they didn't make anything. Well that to me is pathetic! What real business continues if its not recognizing a substantial profit. Basically what they are saying is that they are using a title to get women OR men, to let them tickle their feet and I find that totally pathetic. If you aren't making a profit, or you start with intentions of profiting but later realize you cant profit yet continue anyways, or do make some profit but its so small that its negligible, then your fake and your just being pathetic. For example, I'm really sick of seeing these poorly constructed videos with some creepy looking guy OR woman, chowing down on some models feet, it just looks pathetic. Then you got "fans" that feed them saying good work... what work!? They set up a cheap camera in a messy room and then start gobbling down some pretty woman's toes while they blither some crap that they probably like to tell themselves people want to hear, and probably think it makes them look cool too? No, it looks ridiculous.

So to answer OPs original questions.

I think probably low

However the majority of the producers don't do their own tickling. The market drive to F/F or M/M tends to keep the producers that want to make cash behind the camera.

Also, once you work in the porn industry for a while you just stop caring. It's just another job.

I do notice that a lot dont do there own tickling, but I do also notice quite a few that do, and frankly amongst those I notice some that do come off as quite professional. However, there are several that, at least to me, very much appear as if they are as I described.

I'm not saying its a matter or caring or not, nor am I saying that its pathetic people would want to tickle or suck toes or w/e else, good for them.

I'm commenting on those that remain in business when they do not make adequate profit, if any, so seemingly are just using it to touch peoples feet rather than just gain some social skills and meet someone "real" thats what I think is pathetic. If your someone and are into something and then start making videos of it and are like "hey Im making $500 extra a month and all I gotta do is 5 or 10 hours of work and its helping me a lot with bills or proving me extra cash to go buy stuff" sweet! congratulations! But if you're like "I'm paying models hundreds of dollars and it takes me tons of time to make my video, and then I'm lucky to make my money back after months" and you still continue - PA THET IC !
 
Is it less pathetic to hire women ostensibly to film them but in actuality use them to get your rocks off, or to purchase and view the man getting his rocks off on camera?
