I think this is true. There's something about begging and pleading and knowing it won't do any good that adds to the fantasy. In reality both partners know that all you have to do it say the safeword and everything stops immediately. It's a way of diving into the fantasy of being tickled against my will by a ruthless tickler. Although in reality I don't think too many people are that ruthless. I remember being asked, 'are you sure you're OK?' I had to tell them to keep going and remind them I hadn't used the safeword.

This from the point of view of playing in private. I don't know about models and videos.

In addition, some people are doing it unintentionally by reflex. Using a safeword takes a bit more conscious effort, whereas begging for mercy is much more reflexive. s

When you're getting tickled, you're not sitting there mentally analyzing every moment of what's going on. "Oh my, here I am getting tickled in this spot that I really hate, I should monitor my exact exhaustion levels such that I can signal for it to stop when I really need it to."

No. Your brain short-circuits and bypasses your logic centers. Someone tickles you and your lizard brain goes "OMG BEING TICKLED STAAAAAHP" and your instinctive reaction is to vocalize that. The signals go from foot to mouth, as it were. They're rarely consciously thinking about what they're saying unless it's all a ruse and was scripted by the producer, which is also possible.

TBF I rarely hear a beg to stop. I usually hear a beg to keep going. 😈
