So I was at temple today. It's the type of place where everyone takes their shoes off upon entering. The lesson was two hours long but we got a 10 minute break after the first hour. So during break I went downstairs to get a cup of tea but when I made it back up to the main room their was an older lady(early 40s) actually lying on the floor in the back of the room close to where patrons leave their shoes. She looked cute in her blue socks with green, contrasting heel and toes. I so much wanted to give her feet a quick tickle and my plan was to jokingly tell her it was time to wake up while lightly brushing my fingers across her soles. A friend I was chatting with when I first noticed this lady was talking to me however and I just didn't know how to abruptly end the conversation. By the time he was done several other people had already asked her if she was feeling ok and I sensed it would be redundant for yet another person to bother her while she rested. I overheard her say she was lying down due to lack of sleep. Another reason for not wanting to tickle her feet. So I scrapped the tickle plan but I did ask her if she would like me to get her a pillow. She declined saying she would get up as soon as the 2nd half of the lesson resumed. Was I being to cautious or should I have tickled her? Would you have?

You did the right thing. Considering where you were and given the situation you described HOWever, I would have made a passing remark after the pollow offer that would go something like this:
"I overheard what you said about lack of sleep, I read somewhere that slow raking of the bare soles induces relaxation, subsequently leading to a very restful slumber".😉 😀 (Making the "motions" with my hands/fingers while saying it)

Hey TickledToDeath. I like the way you think! I'll have to try that next time. In fact that would work anytime I'm with someone who yawns or otherwise shows the faintest sign of fatigue. 🙂
In fact once when i was with my psychologist we were talking about careers. She suggested that I would make a good massuese becasue I of my calm demeanor. She also went on to tell me that to GIVE a massage can be very relaxing. I always thought receiving one was the way to relaxation so if I didn't know any better I'd swear she was hinting that she wanted a back rub or something.😛

Thanks bro! Let me know how it comes out! You should get some sort of reaction and at least find out if she is ticklish or not and if you are lucky, a sign if she would perhaps even like it!
