Howdy folks,

A question that has made me wonder ever since I started lurking - or, more precisely, when I began working and saw the importance of an impeccable CV. Well, the appearance of one anyway.

Are models in tickling videos and fetish photoshoots worried about having their photos leaked to the "outside"? Do they think they are risking their career to participate in them? What drives them to participate in these videos, other than economic considerations?

Maybe I live in an overly vanilla and serious environment; but I'd be pretty worried if I am publicly outed at work as a tickling enthusiast. They won't sack me for that alone; but I don't think I can handle having potential new clients pre-judging me in a particular way.

Perhaps to a lesser extent this applies to video producers too. Sure, you guys don't always appear on-screen; but are you ever worried about being "found out"?

From what I've seen I've been curious about this myself. Other than money, I dunno what else there would be.

well maybe if they are models they can see it as a way to advance there career but thats very unlikely
 
i mean some of them are pro fetish models so i dont think they are worried about there pics getting out online but for the average girl who does it the chances of there pics getting leaked so that there friends and family can see it are slim to none IMO

Well, I did say "other than economic factors"...

I've seen photographers and producers who don't pay their models at all - those are the ones that intrigue me.

Yes, it's the more "average" ones that I'm referring to. I don't expect established stars of the industry to be particularly perturbed.

Photographers such as California Beach Feet have prided themselves in not paying their models. I have also heard tickling producers mentioning as such, although I might have been misinformed - I have been lurking here for close to a decade, companies come and go, I can't always remember what their names are.
 
Besides, I'd like to think that perhaps there's more to motivate models than mere money - I'm happy to accept that I'm wrong, if I'm so told by the collective wisdom of the community.

Ive seen that i dont think they are models that guy randomly goes around on the beach and asks girls to tickle and see there feet and he video tapes it

which leads me to believe that either he is the best looking guy in the world or he secretly pays them and trys to play it off that he doesnt that hes just that damn good

chances are the second option is more realistic
 
honestly maybe in very rare occasions maybe there is an attraction between the two so maybe the money thing doesnt happen but 99% of the time its the money they want

"Models" can be defined as anyone that appears in a photoshoot or a video, I don't mean it exclusively for camera-hugging types. Random girls also count, but I don't suppose there'll be too many "randoms" here.

Could be. I'll confess that I'll never be confident enough to walk up to a girl and ask her to appear in a tickle video. Maybe the California guy IS talking up his people skills. Who knows.

That is something I've wondered too. Some of my friends know about my fetish, but if they'd ever
see that it's "real" and not just some weird phase I'm going through, they might alienate me a bit :S

Perhaps the models have a very strong connection to people in their life, and might know that
if anyone were to find out, those most important to them would still stick around.

Probably right. Because a "regular" girl wouldn't get that it's a big deal (to us anyway), she probably wouldn't think much of it. Or because maybe she's never heard of it before she has no idea how may people are actually watching.

Interesting - I guess "everyday" girls don't know how many people watch tickling videos, so they don't think people would find out.

do you think it's still possible for you to think of things from a non-tickler's perspective?

Interesting point - you think of it as a security thing. So you think the ones who are more self-confident and assured are more likely to participate in things like these?
 
Guess I'm just not content with the explanation that it's all money - that there must be some other motivation - fun? adventurous? the guy is (as Badreligion said) extraordinarily good looking?

Just to follow on BadReligion's point - has anyone worked with models (by that I include everyday girls) without financial compensation?

Yeah, sure. I bet the money is nice and all, but have any of you possibly taken into consideration the other "some models" who do it because they enjoy it also?

Or, look at it like this; Away from the fetish community, whether it be tickling or balloons, there are 'poster women/broad/girls' everywhere. Kate Moss doing Rimmel London cosmetic products, Tyra Banks and her line of models for Cover Girl cosmetics, Pamela Anderson all the way to the pioneer; Marilyn Monroe who posed for playboy.

All of those women hold copious amounts of sex appeal and add to the lust of men and women world-wide.

The same can be said about fetish models.

Look around the forum here for example; There are men and women alike who can rattle off names of videos and know exact names of the girls or guys who starred in them. Those models helped and are still helping put a 'face' to the fetish-- and for that a strong appeal holds.

Many of us here have our favorite model, producer, etc. Just as we do away from our fetish and just as those do who aren't affiliated with a fetish of any kind.

So, if Daphne Mc Fuckmyass is getting world-wide fetish recognition for starring in a phenomenal kink video, then in a way she's not only giving to that community, but also benefiting from it, especially if she shares the same fetish.
