Right now I've gone totally ambient with my collection of "Soundscapes" from Robert Fripp.("A Blessing of Tears","That which Passes",and "Radiophonics").
Add visual TV footage or mental reflections of past memories and get real mellow!

It rained a little bit today... a lovely Sunday shower... so I listened to some laid back Lovin' Spoonful music. Nothing like "Daydream" playing as the rain gently falls.

It rains alot here. So i listen to mainly really what ever rap and some heavy metal. :smilestar

perfect for sunday rain showers or when ever it's raining out.

Miles Davis.........

....."The Lift to the Scaffold" (sound track to the film)

Pacabels Canon in D... I know it's a typical sappy wedding song but with eyes closed on my nice soft waterbed with rain in the background... SOOO soothing.

Otherwise, if I was feeling mellow maybe some nice old school Sarah McLachlan or if I was into cleaning I'd listen to some upbeat mainstream radio... depends on the mood.

Robert Fripp?? Wow, is he still around? I remember him as the driving force behind the late sixties psychadelic band, King Crimson. Anybody remember the album cover for "In The Court of the Crimson King"?

I listen to a variety of songs. Among my favorites are "Dancing in the Moonlight" by King Harvest, from 1973. I also like "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles' George Harrison. (Cheesy, I know, but I hate rain). Some other favorites I have are "Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer, and "Cruel to be Kind" by Nick Lowe. Iam a bit, eccentric, in my tastes in music. With some singers, like The Beatles, Billy Joel, and Simon and Garfunkel, I like most of their songs. With other singers, I enjoy just selected hits. I do like a wide variety of music, from 60s to current tunes.

This past Saturday night it was raining harder than I've seen it rain in a long time. I was driving home from a night of tickling, and the rainstorm was pretty scary. So what music was I listening to full blast on such a night? Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" CD. That made the rainstorm all the more intense, especially when my car hit an unforeseen puddle and I felt like I was in an airplane about to make a crash landing. Next time, I think I'll have some soothing Frank Sinatra music playing to help me make it through those storms.
