I mean seriously? Come on! You saw what he did to Frisco, you saw what he did to that chemistry...you signed him up. Yeah, T.O. makes big plays...T.O. is also the most selfish guy that has ever been in the NFL. How T.O. managed to last this long in Philly is beyond me. What I'm wondering is WHAT NOW EAGLE FAN? T.O. was the center of your offense. You actually thought that it was a good idea to make a person this toxic the center of your entire offense...nice going. I guess that it's good that Andy Reid finally pulled the plug on T.O....rather than keeping him around a few more years. I don't think that organization could have handled even another year of him. As for T.O. himself...dude is just mental. There is no rational explaination for his legacy of behavior. If making 49 mil (basically more money than god), being the center of the offense, and being surrounded by great players isn't good enough for him, he'll NEVER be happy. T.O. is rapidly torpedoing his career and, if he's not careful, pretty soon, he's going to end up as the 3rd wideout for the Bengals...or the Browns...or..well, you get the picture.
Get some therapy T.O.!!!

All of you need to get off your high horses and your prespective soap boxes. Let us examine this a little further. What exactly did he do wrong?? All he did was agree with Michael Irvin's assessment that the Eagles would be undefeated if Farve was the QB. And the way it was agreed, it was not malicious. The truth hurts, don't it peeps?? McNabb is not a big-game QB, and he crumbles when pressure is on. Now the only thing Owens messed up was, he did the agreement publicly. There is a code in sports, that you can think it, but don't say it. I kinda admire the man for saying what he feels. What you see is what you get. No sugar-coating. I can repsect a man for saying what is on his mind. At least you can repsect a man for telling the truth, and not lying. I'd rather have that than a man who kisses ass just to get along with somebody, and satisfying someone's fragile self-esteem. Besides, you don't have to like a person, just respect him. Besides, there isn't a bigger big-game receiver out there today than Terrell Owens. Period. The Eagles can forget the playoffs

Natural, do you think T.O. is just the least bit SELFISH and ARROGANT? everything is about him. he did it in San Francisco, now he does it in Philly. this is the same guy who raved about McNabb before he got to Philly, now he doesnt like him? when he made the Favre comment, that was a shot at his QB. that doesnt exactly create team unity. McNabb is one of the best QBs in the NFL, so for TO to say that was a huge slap in the face to McNabb.

McNabb IS the Philadelphia Eagles. he has shown good character and the organization will always back him up because he is a "good guy". TO is NOT the reason why the Eagles went to the SuperBowl. he couldnt be, because he didnt PLAY in the NFC title game.

now, if TO said that and his QB was Ryan Leaf, then gosh darn it, the whole country would agree with him, even though that would not help team unity. but McNabb is no joke QB. that's why there is such a ruckus over that.

keep in mind, TO disrespected the Eagles organization, the coaches and McNabb. he also got into a fight with a teammate and even challenged the rest of the locker room. the guy wasnt exactly loved in San Fran. he isnt exactly a model teammate now is he?

it's also funny that you defend a guy like T.O. but hate Kobe Bryant. funny...

I don't have too much of a problem with T.O bitching about not getting recognized about accomplishing 100 TD's. That is nothing to sneeze at. I think the Eagles should have done something even if it was just to announce it on the scoreboard so the fans can get informed. I have a bigger problem with him dissing McNabb. During the offseason, training camp, etc... I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt when he told the media that McNabb was "tired". It was a hard fought game and it took the toll physically. During training camp, he got a little more personal and that is not the shit that you bring public. Maybe he was telling it like it is in his eyes. Where I draw the line is starting a fight in the locker room. You just don't do that. the comments were an annoyance and even a slap in the face at times, but when things started getting physical, that is unacceptable. The ironic thing about all that is that all the players sided with McNabb so instead of dividing the locker room, he bought it more together. Everybody was against him. Imagine how McNabb must feel right now. He was the catalyst in getting the Eagles to sign Owens, and now he was getting dissed all over the place. Some sense of gratitude.

Natural you make some good points, but let me ask you this how many times have you wanted to say something but then you thought about it you rethought it and kept it too yourself, I mean this has been going on for a year here and the only one that keeps adding fuel to the fire is T.O. he had been told numberous times to watch how he talks about the team to the press but just thinks he's better and can get away with it, now since he was suspended he is learning now that he isn't above the game and is seeing the money he is going to lose and now wants to make nice. So I don't for one minute think he cares about anyone but himself and his money. A poll was taken at a couple of the more popular sports bars here and still after all this 60% of Philadelphians want him to go knowing all to well he may be one of the top 3 receivers in the game and making the playoffs will be better without him. The Eagles don't do much for any player who is still active it won't be till Monday Nights game the Eagles do something for Reggie White so with saying that does T.O. still think his 100th touchdown was a landmark occassion. Well I guess we'll get into this next weekend 🙂
