What to draw next?

As the name implies I was wondering what all of you, or rather, some of you, would want to see next? Which characters would you like to see me draw? Vote, and also post (your vote is likely to have more weight that way).

Its also worthwhile to note that I list these series because they are among the most popular, often on the the top 10 or even 5 on the charts. If theres some relatively unknown series that you liked, be sure to tell me. If theres something that isn't on the list that should be, and you want it, be sure to tell me.

Also, if it isn't an anime series, but say a video game, be sure to mention that as well. The more selection I have to work with, the more likely I am to draw from more than just a couple series at a time.

If I might make a request.
Even though it's a cartoon, I would like to see Penny Gadget and Atsuko dressed in their usual outfit, tied on/to a bed with the ropes tied to the bedposts.
Their shoes and socks have been removed and are placed at the footend
of the bed.
They are tickled with feathers and brushes on their bare feet by M.A.D
agents who are standing or sitting next to their feet while Penny and
Atsuko laugh hard at being tickled.
They do this to learn the location of Inspector Gadget or a computer-chip that will enable M.A.D. to rule the world.

Anyone else in favor of the Inspector Gadger idea? Yay or nay?

I voted for The Slayers, simply because I'd like to draw them sometime and I love Lisa Ortiz's work (she's a voice actress. You've seen her, or rather, heard her in such roles as Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War, Empress Azalyn Goza the 16th in The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, and in Slayers as Line Inverse.

Though I've yet to watch The Slayers, and don't know much about it save fore the reviews and plot description, I am nonetheless captivated by the likeable, if not loveable character designs. I may, nay, will draw from this series regardless of the voting process, but added it so others in favor of it could vote for it.

It also appears we have a vote for Neon Genesis Evangelion, my favorite series. I haven't even begun to draw what I'd like to from that series, both as regular art and themed art such as tickling, barefoot, etc. Theres so much to do with that series, and no one else is doing it either, and it IS the series upon which I founded my group and my first few pictures revolved around. Its only right I do a follow up series of pictures. And with my newfound coloring skills and far better lineart than before, I can't wait to see the final products! i've got so many ideas, it might get hard to remember them all! *excited* 😀

I voted for Neon Genesis Evangelion for a random reason, although I enjoyed Record of Lodoss Wars and the TV series I just didn't like the women enough to want to see more of them.

The character my brain randomly selected was Asuka but in all honesty I couldn't care less about seeing her again. I decided what I really wanted as soon as I saw the 'other' option but my mind defied me.

Anyways onto the secondary reaquest...

Yami To Boushi To Hon No Tabibito, the series I've been rather impressed with lately holds a character whom I have become fascinated with over the past week or so. The reason for this is because she looks exactly how I imagined one of my role play characters to look from years ago. Anyways, her name is Hatsuki and here is a sample picture of her:

Asuka all the way! I LOVE Asuka! She's my favorite pilot and character! I don't need very little reason to want to draw her, we're so much alike as people. Every time I take one of those 'what anime character are you most like?' tests, I end up getting Asuka about 8/10 of the time, and thats even if its an assortment of anime characters, and not strictly Evangelion. Talk about a narrowing down of personnas! LOL ^__^

Whats Hatsuki's last name? I'd like to know it. She already reminds me alot of Motoko Aoyama of Love Hina both in her face, school uniform, her sword, and mostly her hair.

Consider her voted for. Any more yays or nays for this character and/or the series she comes from?

PS- Don't worry about the quality of my work. That has never been an issue for me. I always give my best or at least try to. I think thats apparent in my work, and others seem to recognize it.

Hatsuki Azuma, she is similar to Motoko in appearances but the similarities are pretty vague yet remotely similar after that. Hatsuki is two different people, when she is with her sister* all is right with the world and she is cheerful. In this state she can take on anything the world throws at her without support and excels in her schoolwork and her after school life. She grows extremely jelous of anyone being near to her sister to the point where she will put herself as a physical obstacle between her sister and almost anyone else. Once Hatsumi is no longer around Hatsuki becomes even more focused than she was when Hatsumi was around. Her determination to find her sister takes over and she becomes a very, on the outside, a cold seeming single minded person. The voice actress for Hatsuki is Mamiko Noto, she has been in quite a lot of other roles such as:

X OAV as Kotori Monou
Inu Yasha (TV) as Rin
Full Metal Panic! (TV) as Kazama Shinji
Boogiepop Phantom (TV) as Moto Tonomura

and quite a few others I'm not sure many people will recognise.

*As a quick note her sisters name is Hatsumi Azuma, they are not actually related but they considder themselves sisters because of their great friendship, the fact they are living together and the fact they have the same last name. Hatsumi is also mute.

Wow, thats for the character review. That really helps me out in the drawing and sketching process. Not many people go out of their way like that, thank you.

Ok folks, update. We have one for The Slayers, two for Neon Genesis Evangelion, and two for 'other' which have just been named to be Yami To Boushi To Hon No Tabibito, and Inspector Gadget. If you want me to draw from any one of these series, support the original poster by voting.

Evangelion maintains it's lead, Evangelion is strut'in it's stuff! *horse racing banter* 😀

I vote for the Slayers. For such a great piece of fantasy work it has been overlooked greatly as well. Not to say Record of Lodoss War hasn't as well but you've already delved into the major characters of the series.

Personally, I rather like the Inspector Gadget idea. Though I cringe to admit it now, I actually used to be really into that show, back in the mists of early time, and it always seemed so ridiculous that Penny never got tickled... So many opportunities...

@ FF7- Yeah, thats true. As for Lodoss, thats actually not true. I've only drawn Deedlit and Pirotess a few times each, and Neese once, and that one was never tickling. There is still Princess Fiana, Shiris, Neese, Leaf, Ryna, and Leyla/Karla to consider. I've only covered two of the characters, in reality. Thats not much. The same is true for Lodoss War and Love Hina.

@ UNO- Consider it voted for.

Ok people, so if my records are right, we have 3 votes for Evangelion, 2 for The Slayers, 2 for Inspector Gadget, and one for that long one I don't want to type again unless I have to. 😛

It seems someone voted for more Cowboy Bebop, thats a good choice. I'll let this poll run for about a week before I make my decision. That way, its one way or the other and there is a clear winner. In the event of a tie, we'll have to figure something out for that. But clearly Evangelion maintains it's status as the primary choice, thus far. 🙂

Would like to see Meryl or the girl from the 6th episode who comes to repair the Plant foot-tickled by Vash (they deserve a little payback from him). Would also like to see Milly foot-tickled by anyone 🙂 .

I can get screencaps for any characters. I also have a penchant for feathers as the tickle tool, but hey... we're not voting on that, are we? 🙂

@ FF7- I'm certain I uploaded it before, I know I did as I remember people commenting on it. I honestly don't know why its not there though. If it was deleted, its strange it would be the only thing deleted.

Ah well, its not an important issue anyway. I'll upload it later, when I draw her again. It will also allow for a comparing of the then and now of my art. That should prove interesting. ^^

Ok people, Evangelion is still holding the lead, with yet another additional vote, and 'other' is coming in second, and thats divided up, with two votes favoring Inspector Gadget. The Slayers is holding it's own however and Cowboy Bebop, surprizingly has only one vote. I guess we won't know what will happen until it happens.

In the event of a tie, I'll just choose.

Of course, I'm aware of that. After all thinking about such an undertaking by picking another series to work in right now. Which seems to be pointing to Eva yet, but only time will tell.

Okay. I voted for Cowboy Bebop only because there's this picture on the Yahoo group Toon Beboot of Faye wearing these sheer purple stockings I'd love to see her get tickled in those. And there's this female character on YU-Yu-Hakisho whose name escapes me at the moment. She has long, straight, light brown hair and usually wears a necktie (that menswear always gets me for some reason). Somebody help me on this one. Who is she? And as far as Inspector Gadget is concerned, I'd much rather see Agent G2 (from Inspector Gadget 2) get it than Penny. She could separate her upper body from her lower, which makes for some interesting situations.😉
