What triggers your safeword?

I agree that there are alternatives to safe words such as "ouch, the rope is cutting into my wrists". It is easy enough to see and address the problem. After all, pain detracts from the tickling so a tickler will happily address the problem.

That type of approach doesn't end the session.

Finding female lers is a lot harder than than finding male ones, but I'll keep looking!!! 😀

I agree with you, that thinking about having no way of stopping the tickling IS intriguing in some way, but what IF you really can't take it anymore or something unforeseen happens?
Maybe if it was with someone you really know very very well, but even if they watch you very carefully they cannot feel what you feel.

Oh my goodness, this is exactly how I feel! At least I now know someone else feels the same way.

There are only a couple of spots I know of that will drive to the point of panic very quickly, so for both of us to really enjoy the experience for as long of a session as possible, we're gonna have to agree not to go there. I wish I could help myself, but that's the way I'm wired.

Other than that, I'm pretty flexible; if you want the safeword, then have it. If not, then it's exclusively with an experienced player or I don't want the risk of trying to figure out someone's threshold on my own.

I have said my safeword to a few Ler's who were persistent,the tickling at times was gentle slow strokes in the most hyper ticklish spots and some pretty intense scribbling of fingernails which drives me insane but I have NO Idea what triggers my safeword

For me, it's really the breathing. Not that i have as much experience as a Lee as some others but i haven't had to safeword, even though i have one. It is usually the Ler that will pull back and let me catch my breath because they are busy laughing at me laughing and contorting like a snake on a string. Now that this has been said, i figure my Lers will now try to break me...it should be quite fun!

I for myself figured out that there are more places for ticking then USA (for my luck, because i dont live there 😀).
So, i can't say, i'd be in heaven, but its sure not hell 😉

Hmmm, safeword... i guess its a good thing to have, especially for those of us who don't yet know their limits.. however, i think that if i get the opportunity to be tickled, its going to be someone that i will trust not to hurt me or do anything that we haven't already talked about as far as where or what to tickle...now the how much... that's what i want to find out. I want to see how much can i take and just when i think i'm there... i would want to see what its like to go soaring over that limit. I don't know if I'd use one or not, part of the allure to me is being at my ler's mercy to decide how long he will tickle me and when he's through with me, but if i had to go to the bathroom or felt like i was going to pass out, i'd probably use it, although i think the person i'm thinking of will know me enough to know when i'm about to pass out and not let that happen.

When certain things have been done to the soles of my feet...or my ribs...to the point of being unbearable, I have broken down and used a safeword. It's not a matter of passing out or losing bladder control, it's more like the prospect of having to survive the UNENDURABLE that has made me panic.

Having said that, I know a couple of diabolical 'lers that I will let tickle me without a safeword, because they know me well enough by now and I've reached that level of trust with them, I know they won't let me permanently freak out. They will just about kill me, though!

Somebody mentioned not being able to use a safeword when you're gagged. One of my favorite 'lers and I had a deal where he would gag me when he felt like it, but then I could snap my fingers if I had to and that would serve in place of a safeword.

Then came the day when he gagged me AND THEN, as a surprise, taped my hands so I couldn't snap my fingers! But that's another story....

If I get to the point where I need a safe word

I've usually forgotten what the safe word is and just end up yelling "Safe word! Safe word! SAFE WORD!" And I'm not ABOUT to say what makes me do that on here, my goodness...do I look like a crazy person?!

As far as coughing or pain, I'd hope that the second I said "ow!" or started coughing that whoever was tickling me would be smart enough to figure out that I wasn't having fun anymore...
