what would you say about the idea of group pouches of clips ? 1 clip for 1$ !

i want to check something out with you.
i have this idea of group selling of clips.
i think it will be something like this.
*
i will publish clip title and preview.
if you want the clip you will be committed to pay 1$
lets say that the minimum buyers number will be 10 people.
if 10 people or more join the selling, they will pay the 1$ that they committed to pay,
and all of them will get the clip.
if the minimum buyers limit is less then 10 people, no one will pay and no clip. no harm done.

what do you think ?

Give people a bit more time to respond and I'm sure you'll get feedback. Posting at 7:30 am on a weekday isn't going to reach your demographic of clip buyers.

I'm not certain how you make your profit based on this model. If 9 people commit 1 dollar and your minimum threshold is 10 you the producer are at a loss on your operating cost(models, camera, feathers ect).

May I propose another model?
Put together a theme or ask the forum for a theme. Those that commit to this theme can share the cost of the video. If the cost per share drops below a certain threshold, say 1 dollar per minute..you the producer are allowed to post it on clips4sale immediately at the above threshold price. If the cost to the initial investors is above the threshold price you the producer are obligated to hold the video for 1-2 months before it can be sold on clips4sale at the lower 1 per minute price.

Ex. People are interested in a very tall tickler paired with a very short ticklee. It cost $100 dollars to make including profit for a 10 minute video. 20 people commit at $5 each. You make the video and the initial investors get the video at 5 bucks. You immediately sell the video on clips4sale at $10 bucks for the 10 minutes furthering your profit margin.

Take the above example and lets say only 5 people are interested. Each would be obligated to pay $20 bucks for the clip and get to see it immediately . You the producer would then "sit" or hold onto the clip for a period of one to two months allowing those 5 people exclusivity to the clip. After that time has expired you can then sell it on clips4sale at 1dollar per minute or $10.

Well, it's early yet.
As we enter further into the Age of Electronic Distractions, I'm noticing this expectation of Instant Gratification seems to be popping up more and more. Someone posting content, and then getting frustrated when no one comments within the first few hours. This is on a weekday morning on top of that. The world itself is still analog.
As for your idea, I will have to pass. I noticed all your clips are in HD, which would take forever to download as I'm still one of the few hold outs still riding along on dial up. The clips I've seen are good, Nastia looks like fun, but I won't be able to spend so much time downloading anything complete from your site.

actually nastia is the FIRST hd clip...
all other clips are in regular quality.
p.s if there is a clip that you want and you cant download because of it size, let me know. i will make a special version for you !@

As a buyer that sounds like a pretty decent idea/deal that I probably would partake in every once in a while.

But that also sounds inconvenient. What if I was really interested in the video, and because 9 other people didn't want it, I don't get to see it? That sucks 🙁

the idea says that the clip will be availble on clips4sale on regular purches.
so if you really want it and there isn't a "deal" you can get is as usual on the site.....
