I didn't vote since I'm newer to wrestling and have only watched a few old vids of the WCW and ECW action.

We watch TNA and WWE regularly. I have to say that I personally like WWE better than TNA. The characters make more sense, are better speakers and often better wrestlers. The stories are also better developed...though I don't like them all. Of course, having more money on hand to help guys develop has to help.

I have enjoyed some of the action in the old ECW stuff. While I'm not sure I'd want to watch it every week, I do like the fact that the guys who were involved in ECW gave everything they had to entertain the crowds. They get the highest marks in that department. Former ECW guys, like RVD, can teach some of the other guys about commitment and fan appreciation.

I think what folks would vote for depends on what they're looking for in wrestling. If they're looking for the non-stop action and not so much in the way of stories, I'm sure they'd like to see ECW return. TNA has had some good action, but is too inconsistant. If they're most interested in the stories and all the craziness and fun, they'll likely choose WWE.

Each federation has/had it's own strengths and weaknesses, I guess.

I think when WCW was at the top of it's game, it was the best.

Not Even Close!!!

ECW gave 110% whether they were wrestling in a bar or on a PPV. The Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Taz matches were legendary. You just cant get that type of quality with the corporate, commercialized WWE or (when it was still around) the overly political correct WCW. Im not counting NWA-TNA because although they have incredible wrestlers such as Loki and Christopher Daniels that 6 sided ring looks ridiculous im my opinion.

ECW was full of hard workers and did all it could to spread its "word". It was never going to compete with the big guys, because it didn't have the clout of McMahon and Turner, but if effort and brass nuts counted for anything, it was the tops.

WWF ( still refusing to call it WWE - bloody panda loving bastards! 😡 ) has seen better days. Titles are worthless now and the show has become a total farce in my opinion. My favourite time was the early to mid 90's.

WCW always was a complete and utter joke, run by a guy who was so shit scared of offending the PC brigade that virtually nothing ever happened that didn't look like pure pantomime. Anyone remember the butchers with the spotlessly clean aprons? Also dogged by a series of complete chimps as bookers and general managers; Rick Flair, Dusty Rhodes and Eric Bischoff all spring to mind. Cowboy Bill Watts was marginally better, but still no-one's darling. He was to wrestling what Alex Higgins was to snooker. I think they even shared pissing in a plant pot as a publicity stunt. Harley Race was a pretty good asset though; like Bret Hart a guy who may have done a contrived sport but was genuinely tough as nucking fails.

A total dearth of creativity that managed to waste the talent it managed to aquire with a series of awful plotlines, ridiculous rules and asshat practices.

I agree ElectricEye. ECW was the tops in my book as well. There pay per views and shows we're always Extreme just like thier name stood for Extreme Championship Wrestling and that's what they were Extreme. all the guys gave a huge effort in pleasing the crowds and there fans and working there butts off.

In some ways i wish the WWE would become more like ECW. (But i know that i'm sure will never happen). Maybe that's why i don't watch wwe that much anymore!! i'm tending to watch a little bit more of nwa tna now from time to time on Spike tv.

No Way Out PPV

Ill tell you what John Bradshaw Layfield put on an ECWlike performance in the barbed wire cage match against the Big Show who is too lumbering and too slow! JBL was covered in blood, took sick bumps and carried the Big Shows fat ass to a brutal great match which he won fair and square...unusual but fair!!!
