Just curious what everyone is doing on this rainy oogy (here in Columbus) Eve. My only preschooler scheduled for today just went home early so I'm off work 'til Monday (YAY); My daughters are (destroying my clean kitchen) baking blueberry muffins and I'm about to wrap Bill's gifts and vaccum everything that isn't breathing...what are you up to?

The boy and I will be going out to do our Christmas shopping....then we will wrap....By that time Tracy will be home and we will head over to Mom's to have Christmas dinner tonight.....

Well, I'm supposed to finish my completed homemade gifts, do some wrapping and some baking/cooking. Notice the words "supposed to!" Right now I'm sitting on my bed tearing through my figis order (best food ever), throwing myself into a food coma! Once my DHL delivery comes, I'm lying down (been up since 4am) and will do whatever needs doing when I wake up.

Well, I currently have less than 4 hours to begin and complete all of my Christmas shopping and here I sit 😀

At 5:00 I have to be at my sister's house, and we're going to do our Christmas Eve tradition of watching a Christmas movie, eating, and hanging out until I have to go to work at midnight.

Cleaning my work truck before cookin' a corn pudding and going to see my nieces in a Christmas Eve service at church. Then we'll all be gathering at my brother's home for our annual Christmas family dinner. .......And wishing I could get a good tickle treatment for Christmas............I don't think it's gonna happen

Today, popped in to town and met up with friends for a last shop. All our highstreet stores are shutting with the credit crunch so prices are amazingly cheap! 4 shops here closing down after xmas already. Tonight gunna have an evening in the TMF chatroom and relax watching the film 'Sunshine' with some chocolate Youle log! oooh and texting a girly friend to organise our tickly tickle fight part deux!

I'm gonna wrap the last of the gifts and have lasagna for dinner after i do some touching up of a few New Years photos. Then tomorrow is the dinner at my brothers house. After that I don't have to go to work until Monday.

Cleaning at the Dentist, scraping the crud off of the driveway (nice and clean!) and, apparently, my family wants to go get Chinese food for dinner. Working on a project for Lee, too, but that's more whenever I have a moment than a focused task.

I'm in NYC with my mother, aunt and uncle.

I spent 2 hours this morning trying to find a parking space I wouldn't have
to move from until Saturday, wouldn't have to pay $100 for, and wouldn't
get a ticket at. Finally managed to do that.

My aunt, mother & I walked around doing grocery shopping (LOVE the city
for that. At home I have to drive, and end up with less daily fresh food.)
and then my aunt and I made the rub for the turkey, soup for dinner, hash
browns for breakfast tomorrow, and the coquito (which is Puerto Rican
coconut eggnog, heavy on the rum, and delicious.) and now we're relaxing.

Finished all the last minute nonsense that had to be done, tried not to get out of the car and strangle idiots on the road, enjoyed the soggy, rainy miserable day for what it was worth. Now I'm sitting here waiting for tomorrow to be over so everything can go back to some semblance of normality.

Going out to my cousins huge(8 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath) house to have christmas eve dinner with my moms side of the family. Then we(20+/- ppl) will split into teams and make ginger houses b4 everyone settle down to spend the night cracking jokes, playing games, and watching movies. Yea wouldnt guess by my pic that im the family oriented type lol.

I bought all of my presents for my family and then wrapped everything. It took quite a while.

Up at five to try to beat holiday rush at the airport, which wasn't bad at all (love my airport). Caught a semi turbulent flight in to New Orleans, drove the 3 hrs to my family's home to be greeted by a huge pot of gumbo and more homemade candies then I can count. I hope everyone else is enjoying the holiday!

I'm at work - about 3/4 way done wrapping presents..just taking a break to check on my TMFers and engorge myself with some cookies one of my consumers made me *tear* so sweet!! 😀

Anyway, I'm working til 11 and the heading to my sister's house for presents..then my uncle's for food...then back to work at 8pm This time of year is so crazy!!

Ham's outta' the oven and the sweet potatoes are in! I must say that ham looks so good I could weep! I'll start the macaroni and cheese soon and should be in bed around 5am. Then get up at about 10a to wrap gifts and make cookies. I'll be at my nieces at about 2pm for dinner and only God knows what else.
