Heard from him today in fact. He is alive and well and working tons of hours at the new job!

I was wondering the same thing... I loved his bombastic cyber-verbosity.
 
At this point, his ears should be burning! Maybe I'll send him an email and check on him. I just figured he was busy at the new job.
