I don't mind some Ska music,(if this is what we're talking about here) I have a tape by The Ska-talites that's pretty cool, also some early Bob Marley "Studio One" material, which is also ska-based. I like a couple tunes by The Specials, too.

Ska is like a lot of other genres- some of it's great, and some of it's monotonous. I don't know that much about the 1st wave of ska (the original Jamacian wave) but I like what I've heard from the second wave (70s + 80s two tone) and the 3rd wave (No Doubt, Bosstones, etc....). There's always more to discover.
