What an amazing question!!

Usually the question is turned around:
"What does the lee get out of being tickled!"

It is amazing the different "points of view" tickling takes on when being the tickler or ticklee.

For me the tickler, I love the laughter, I feed on it. That open mouthed laughter that pours out from the lungs. The hitch in the laughter right BEFORE you find their "hot spot"...hmmm incredible.
I love the feel of my fingers/tounge/toy finding every ticklish nook and cranny on a ticklee body.
I love how my single finger can bring send a person into throws of hysterics.


As the new lee in my comes out, I love the interaction with the tickler, trying to keep that hot spot unfound but wishing they would find it sooner at the same time!😱 🙄
I love the feel of the ler exploring my body, the look on a ticklers face is one of complete focus and usually concentration..on and the grin and eye look that sends shivers right to your lee core because they just found your hot spot and you aren't going anywhere for a while!

I'm much more of a lee. But, as one who also enjoys the ler side on occassion, I can say this. For me, more than anything else, it's the satisfaction of knowing that the lee is enjoying what I'm doing. Of course, there's also the sadistic pleasure of knowing that you're driving them insane. One situation that most sticks out in my brain is when a former 'lee had her arms tightly around my neck and asked me to tickle her. OMG!! I can totally appreciate where you're coming from, but.... As a ler, it's almost like I'm an otter and you're asking what enjoyment comes from being in the water! :- ) It's an incredible phenomenon and I'm going to try and desist from writing a manifesto answer the question. I crave laughter, I adore touch, I love giving pleasure and live for intimacy. When my finger makes contact with skin in a tickly way, and feel the twitch of the muscle or a squirmy contraction or the vibration of laughter, I literally feel that energy from the lee's body transferring into my fingertips and coursing through my body. Of course, depending on whom is receiving the tickle, that energy goes to errrmm... specific areas of the body! tee hee! There aren't many things more exciting than seeing the true essence of a person, and for me, the expression of ticklishness is one way seeing that essence.
